So let’s see what the design team have made for us....

Anita -  Hi there I was thrilled to be asked to join this challenge of Christmas in July,  I had fun with the Here comes christmas collection  I so love this collection there is so much on it everytime I go back to it I find more to whet my appetite.

Lou: Back for the second time as a GDT for this challenge and have used the Picknix, Gingerbread Twist collection to make my triple easel card. The sentiment is from "Here Comes Christmas" CD.

Scatty Jan  My Christmas project was made on a really hot summery day, it did feel odd Christmas making with the doors and windows open, but never the less I love Christmas- I used some digi's completely non Christmas putting my little spin on them by colouring them in Christmas colours, adding holly where a skull should be and adding some little Christmas hats - The images I have used are from left to right Oddella with bag, Oddella with Bow, and Oddella with Twig. These have all been coloured up with Graph'It Markers. All the sentiments and background images are from the Work and Play Collection 5 - Festive Hollybobs . The hats were an old Sizzix die and some thin tinsel added.

Lynda:. I love Christmas in July!! and this is my first Christmas card this year. I used the lovely Work & Play 5: Festive Hollybobs this week. It's available as a download collection or on a CD.  The digi I used is called Hollybobs Robin and can be bought separately. Hope you have fun xx

Julie - I decided to make a Pendulum card for my Christmas in July project and have used the fabulous Polkadoodles Work and Play 5 digi download (Also known as Festive Hollibobs) - it is also available on CD and the image is also available singly, it's called Angel and can be found in the Polkadoodles Digi Store HERE
The beautiful blue snowflake paper and spotty paper in the centre of the card, the christmas trees, lamp posts and the sentiment are also in the full download so its amazing value. I have coloured the image with Copic Markers.

Yvonne - I am still addicted to the Serenity Collection and this time I have used 'Stardust'.  I decided she was a Christmas fairy.................obviously.  I coloured her with my polychromo pencils and used pan pastels for the background.  I used papers from the Picnix Gingerbread Twist collection, which you can get as a CD-rom or as a download.  The sentiment is from Festive Hollibobs Collection.

Jane – Hi everyone!  Christmas in July!!! Oh my goodness. I don’t usually think about my Christmas cards until November!! However how can you resist creating those festive makes when you have such a fab compilation of goodies at your disposable on the awesome PICKNIX2 GINGERBREAD TWIST BUNDLE?  There are some gorgeous papers and so many digi stamps in this collection. I just adore this snow lady and snowy scene which I have incorporated into a diorama/shadow box/tunnel thingy card (not its real name).  So snag the discount code and grab this collection.  There is something in it for everyone! Have a lovely crafty day! xxx

Anjie - I have used the fabulous Picknix 2, Gingerbread Twist Colletion. For those that have been following my blog for a while you will know how much I love this collection! For the background I cut two papers into 4 squares to make a patchwork background. I used a distress ink around the edges of the before sticking them down and then added some faux stitching to tie them together. The I sat and fussy cut all the embellies out whilst I was watching Wimbledon. As much as I love my Cameo I still also love to fussy cut, and I love Wimbledon so got to do two things I love together, how good is that!
Tanya.....I love, love, love making Christmas cards and there’s oodles of inspiration on the Polka Doodles website but I’ve gone back to one of the older CD collections called Paper Boutique
to make my card this week.  I’ve used the Dashing Rudolph sheets and printed both of them out and have used some of the papers too – polka dots of course and the green paper featuring the lyrics of Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer which match the writing on the Rudolph digi.  I’ve decoupaged him and added glitter to his nose (of course).  There are some great sentiments on this CD collection and so I decided to use some NOEL tags and some buttons from another sheet and have finished them off with a touch of hessian twine and arranged them ‘off’ the top of the card.  The edges of all the images/papers have been inked up.  Full details can be found on my blog and also there’s a little bit of a competition giveaway to enter over there as well and would love if you could visit.

Monica.-For my Christmas in July proyect, I made a multiple step card using the adorable Picknix 2 Gingerbread Twist Collection. Everything in that collection is just perfect for the cuttest Christmas projects.

Inside the card

Wendy - Eughh, less than 6 months till christmas, best get cracking on the cards then! For my Z-fold card, I've used several images from Picnix 2 - Gingerbread Twist and resized using Craft Artist. Both backing papers and the ribbon strips are also from this collection.

Emma - For my Christmas in July project i have made a frame card which i think looks quite different. I have used the super sweet Festive Hollybobs Tree Fun which can be found Here. I have used one of the papers from the full Hollybobs collection that can be found Here as a digi download or CD Here.
Caz  For my christmas in july project i have made a square box card..I have used the cute  Crackers digi image, from the great Festive Hollybobs Collection, available as a Download or if you prefer on CD.  The digi is also available as a single digi  here. Papers and presents all available on this collection....

Great makes from the DT I’m sure you will agree.

Naz - The image I have used here is called SERENITY STARDUST and it is part of SERENITY FAIRY WISHES collection.
This collection is one of my favourite collections from Polkadoodles and it comes with beautiful black and white as well as coloured digital stamps.
Also the collection includes papers and sentiments.

Anita - Hi there such a privilege to be here, Today I have used Pretty Tuff CD collection , the papers are super lush and little jake is just awesome and available on his own Here. The embossing folder is from Darice.
Scatty Jan For my embossing project I decided on a card - I have a few Birthdays ahead so went for a Birthday card using the scrummy Maddie With Present, you can find her as a digi here. I coloured her with Graph'It Markers and a few Polychromos. I used two embossing folders from Sizzix - the Happy Birthday one and the Cupcake. Added a legnth of ribbon , a couple of gems and some pearl flourishes to finish

Julie - My embossing is dry, it's one of the Embossalicous folders from Crafters Companion, it's a 6 x 6 called Bird Houses which I thought would go perfectly the the beautiful coloured owl image called Hats Off Twiggy from Polkdadoodles, the collection is called Twiggy and Toots and is available as a full digi dowwnload, CD and the image is available singly in the Polkadoodles Digi Download store HERE.The paper, gingham bows and flowers are also in the collection

Wendy - I've used both dry and heat embossing on this project. I have dry embossed the backing paper, which can be found as part of the Nikky mini kit. The bonnet image is one of the embellishment digi's from the Rose Budd collection. My heat embossing is the semtiment in the corner.
Jane – Hi everyone! This week I used the stunningly beautiful EDEN FAIRY WINGS to decorate a small gift bag. She can be bought separately or as part of the amazing value EDEN BIG KAHUNA BUNDLE. I dry embossed the background paper and also the gorgeous butterflies and heat embossed using gold Frantage around the image. Have a lovely crafty day! xxx
Caz Hi all...For my use some embossing make i have used the cute Serenity Fairy Kisses coloured with my graph it markers. The embossing folder i have had for ages, but thought it suited the image..Background paper is from Eden Collection-Paper Heaven 4. Some die cut butterflies, and bow added. And strip of lace..
Tanya - There are a few ways of embossing, but I’ve decided to use one of my embossing folders called ‘Swiss Dots’ for the card backgrounds/matt and layering and make another Christmas card. Well it’s never too early to get started and I’ve got a few Christmas things made already. It’s good to get ahead of yourself even if it does feel a little bit strange creating Christmas projects when the sun is shining. I've used the trees and merry christmas bunting from one of Nikky's fab CD collections called Magical Winter

Emma - For my embossing card i have used the super cute Winston Bear Gone fishing who can be found Here, I have distressed the embossed paper with distressed ink to bring it out. All the papers & embellishment are from the complete Winston collection that can be found Here.
Lynda: I decided to use the beautiful Twiggy & Toots collection for this weeks make. It's available as a digital collection or on a CD. The papers, birthday writing and the pre-coloured image are all from this collection. I dry embossed the balloons and kraft card, Have fun Lynda xx
Yvonne - I have an addiction with Polkadoodles Serenity Collection and this week I used 'Earthstar'. I coloured her with my polychromo pencils. I have used papers from the Serenity Collection and also used one of the papers from the Distressed Wood papers. I embossed the cloud paper with a clud embossing folder. I added a wee bit of shabby pink frantage to the image and heat embossed it.
Monica - For my project I`m using one of the new digis from Fairy Tales Happen, the beautiful Snow White and to cutting files from Polkadoodles store that were perfect to work with embossing folders: apple card template and decorative nest, From both files I got a beautiful and clean cut no matter how fancy it was.

PRIZES:
The random winner (chosen by Random.org) will receive £5 worth of downloads of your choice from the digi store!

The winner and top 3 for week 22 can be found at the bottom of this post.

So let’s see what the design team have made for us starting with the GDT's....

Lou: I have made a tag card from a DL card by just removing the corners. I think one of my favourite Polka Doodles paper collections comes from Dollie Goes East collection; so varied and versatile. I have used lots of the elements and sentiments to create my card. I did also sneak in a little tag too.
Jenny - Hi it's good to be joining you this week and I love tags but rarely use them so this challenge was perfect for me. I have used one of the lovely digi's from the Serenity collection and she is Serenity Resting you can find her here.
I have used some pencils and Graph'it pens and I think she really looks like she has been tangoed!

Anjie - I have made the tag out of some Kraft card and then the papers, embellies and sentiments are all from the fabulous Picknix 2 Gingerbread Twist collection. I have used the Tea Dye distress ink to darken the edges of everything and added some faux stitching onto the papers. The 2 Picknix collections are available as smaller downloads and some even as physical paper stacks, which are so strokeable! You can find them all HERE. More details on my blog.
Scatty Jan For my tag this week I have used Oddella Twig , how adorable is she!!  I have coloured her up with Graph'It Markers, trying a nice bright red hair, For my base paper for my tag I used Distressed Wood paper pack download, loving this paper it really is so versatile. I added some Dewdrops, ribbon, buttons, gems and a charm to finish

Tanya - I love making tags because they can be elaborately or simply decorated and it gives you a chance to use lots of the little embellishments you may have lying around in your craft room. I’ve decided to use the  Dollie Goes East collection and have used three of the coloured digis which I’ve resized in a graphics package and printed out and then used some of the lovely papers available on the collection with the flowers which I’ve resized as well to go onto some Kraft Card tags and finished them off with glitter, gems and ribbon and lace.  I’ve made these three tags so that they can be used as cards so I printed off three different envelopes (also on the collection) and they will be just great for the tags and are just the right size too.

Jane – Hi everyone!  Well I made a tag easel card for my project this week involving a total of 4 tags!! All the elements are part of the beautiful SERENITY COLLECTION which is a must-have for all you fairy lovers out there!! The gorgeous image, SERENITY PRINCESS, comes as part of this collection but can also be purchased separately!  Have a lovely crafty day! xxx

Monica.-For this week challenge, I chose a beautiful shaped tag and cut it different sizes to make a tag mini album. For my mini album I used the beautiful papers, embellisments, flowers and sentiment from Octavia Moonfly Collection.

Caz Hi everyone, for my Tag i have used the lovely Oddella Bow. Gone a bit different and coloured grey tones, using my Graph it  markers..Paper is from Distressed Wood Paper download. I've added couple of skull flourishes cut on portrait.

Yvonne - I HAD to use Oddella again because it has been tooooo long since I played with her! So I opted for Oddella Heart. Soooo sweet! You can see her here.  I used a scalloped heart nesting cutting file that I cut out three hearts of.  I used a backing paper from the Picknix Gingerbread Twist Collection, which you can see here.  Not just for Christmas!

Wendy - Well seeing as it's my 1st anniversary this week for being on this fabby team, I gone all out and used not 1 but 4 images. (Greedy, I know!) I've used Octavia Bird in Hand on the front and the 3 other images on the tags inside are all from Octavia Moonfly. The papers and sentiments are all from this collection, however they can also be found in mini kits on the Octavia Collections page.

Emma - For my 'Tag it' card I have made a card that is a tag shape, i have used Oddella Fairy who can be found Here & have coloured up using my pencils. All of the papers are from the Work & Play 9 - Love & Kisses collection that can be found Here, the sentiment & flower are from another of the fab collections called Octavia Moonfly which can be found Here.

Julie - I decided to make a card using my Sizzix large tag die and some Kraft card, I am really into Kraft  at the moment. The perfect digi download to go with Kraft card has to be the delightful Twiggy and Toots full download collection (also available on CD) which I have used for the coloured images, digi bows, sentiment ticket and gorgeous dotty paper. The owl images are also available singly in the Digi Download Store  Hats Off TwiggyTea for TwoooDancing Queen
I just added some gingham ribbon through 2 tag holes and brown dotty organza ribbon through the other 2 holes.

Lynda: For this weeks challenge I decided to use the gorgeous Work & Play 11 Collection, it's available on a CD or as a digital collection.  The Skateboarding digi stamp is available to buy here.  Have fun xx
