So let's see what the Design Team have been making this week!

Monika I made a card with a super fun Fancy Fold using the cutest bundle ever: Theo Penguin, I just love, love, love this collection. The images are just perfect to create fun winter scenes so I created a 3D Winter landscape with super cool penguins. I enjoy working with digi stamps as you can resize them and it is very easy to achieve the depth in the projects. To decorate the pillars on the card I used digi papers from Superhero - Little Dudes and Spring into Easter set 3, the cloud design paper comes from Work & Play 10 Paper Heaven collection. Happy crafting!

Wendy J - Wendy - Hello everyone I hope you are all doing ok - how are your Christmas cards coming along ? If you are looking for some simple and very artsy looking designs then how about the collection of images by Lucy Monkman, they are so beautiful and perfect when we don't have loads of time to spare but want a gorgeous and elegant card. For my project today with the theme of Christmas Animals/Birds, I decided to use the Snowy Dog & Bird image, coloured with Promarkers, to make a very Clean & Simple Christmas card with just a simple layer of glitter cardstock. The sentiment is from the Winnie White Christmas bundle

Christin - Slowly I have to send my christmas cards. For this one I colored the which way the penguin with alcohol markers. I also colored the background in blue and purple and put some snowfall with a white gel pen. Have you started sending Christmas cards yet or when do you start?

Nat - Finally, it’s almost Christmas time….yeahhhhh!!!! Love it!!! I´m really in love with all about this time of the year and enjoy so much with making cards, ornaments and handmade gifts for the family and friends. So, with this project about Christmas animals/birds I have prepare a special gift box for a good friend of mine. Hope she loves it. I have already leave some pictures at the dropbox folder and here I send you some info about the project:
For the box Lid I have used the Bella Bear Christmas Digital sentiments
For the cute Snowman with little cute bird I used the New friend Snowman Digital stamp
And the Snow Scene

For the colouring I have used these copic markers:
  • Snowman wool cap- R59-R29-R27-R24-R22
  • Trees and Green of the snowman wool cap: G99-G94-G82- YG03
  • Snow B00-B000-C1-
  • Sky BG78-BG75-BG72
  • Bird YR26-YR24-YR23-Y00

The team have been really busy again this week - thankyou Team and big welcome to our new ladies too!

So let's see what the Design Team have been making this week!

Jane – I love the versatility of digital stamps, and they are perfect for quick and easy crafting. The ‘topper’ for this design is simply one of the sentiments from BELLA CHRISTMAS BEAR BUNDLE resized to fit an A6 card. I then printed off BELLA BEAR BIG GIFT, coloured and cut her out to fit on the front. Easy-peasy.

Candace - For today's challenge project, the theme is Merry & Bright, North Pole, use colors red & white with a hint of green. I used the image Hang On - Winnie North Pole. The pattern paper is from Gnome for the Holidays. I printed the sentiment on the image, the sentiment is from Christmas Greetings, Quotes and Sentiments.

Catrin - Hi everyone, For my card today I have used 'Mistletoe Kiss' from the Theo Penguin digi stamp set. The Penguins have been coloured with Promarkers. I have die ccut the card, paper and image and added some embelishments to complete.

Samantha P - It’s time for another Digi Choosday, and for this current DT challenge featuring the North Pole, I selected the Winnie Winterland – North Pole digital stamp along with the Colouring scene 4 Christmas printable background to create this adorable scene. For this card, I kept everything one-layer except for the sentiment, coloring in reds and greens. To finish everything off I chose a sentiment from the Winnie White Christmas Sentiments set. I hope you enjoy.

Shruti - This time Digi Choosday theme was "Merry & Bright" with Red & White Colour pallette with a hint of green. So I've made a card using Which Way - Theo Penguin🐧
Coloured the background in light blue tones then layered the beautiful cut out of theo penguins. For background I've used papers from DLPD9439 Set 1 Christmas printable digital paperTied a Ribbon, dusted with glitter and added some Snowflake ❄️ Sequins.
Hope you like it 💗 Follow @minal_magic to watch the reel of this card. Crafty Hugsx

MartineThis time I made  a frosted card...because it's called Octavia Frosted Winter Bear HugsWould you love to hug this bear?? Well, if he was friendly i would... lol. I colored it as usual with my Distress inks. Those gorgeous snowflakes are from my own stash. I added some text from Gingerbread HollySee you next time!

Jennifer - Hello crafty friend, I hope you've been having fun, creating for the upcoming holidays! For this weeks project, I made this cute Carol singing moose into a Christmas card.
I started by bringing 'Carol singing-Elvis Wesley moose' into procreate, along with a "Merry Christmas" sentiment from 'gingerbread holly greetings', and 'Christmas coloring scene 4'. All of the digital images from Polkadoodles are so easy to use together because they're designed with, what's called a "clear background". So they literally layer together as easy as import, drag, and drop!
After getting my layout how I liked it, printed it out with a Lazer printer. Printing with toner, instead of regular ink, allows me to add a Beautiful shine with some transfer foil and a laminator. I just covered the "Merry Christmas" with gold foil and fed it through my laminator.
To complete the background, I lightly ink blended a mix of 'spun sugar' and 'shaded lilac' distress ink to give some dimension to the snow. For the sky, I used 'salvaged patina', 'salty ocean', and 'prize ribbon' to create a center highlight around the sentiment.
For Mr.Moose, and all of the trees, I colored them in with alcohol markers. But it still needed something... so I grabbed an embossing pen, and went over all of the trees, everywhere I thought the snow would stick, and added some clear embossing ink. I dusted on some 'puff white' embossing powder, which actually puffs up when you heat it! Which gives a very interesting texture to snow.
After that, I added some highlights to all of the snowy highpoints with a stardust glitter pen. I also added a tiny bit more glitter, with an 'aqua shimmer pen', to the very top of each snow drift.
I cut down my finished panel to 3¾"x5", and layered some red glitter paper behind it, leaving about ½cm border. I added one more mat, cut to 4¼"x5½, from the 'gingerbread holly' printable paper pack, to help tie together all of the colors I used on the images.
I really enjoyed making this card with Polkadoodles printable downloads! The possibilities are endless, with the ability to resize, mirror, crop and edit, and more! Printable downloads are a great thing to have in your crafty arsenal.
Thank you, so much, for going on this crafty journey with me today. Have a fun and creative day ❤️ -Jennifer S - IG: @pueen_queen

Kim S - Happy Digi Chooseday! Here we are hopefully all full on in our Christmas card creating. For our Design Team project this week our theme was Merry and Bright + the North Pole with a colour scheme of Red and White and a touch of green. Which suits me just fine since I'm not much of a 'green' person. I created a pop up box card that fits perfectly into a 6.25" X 6.25" envelope when it is folded down flat.
My choice for images all came from the new Bella Bear Christmas-y download set. For once, everything i used came from the same set. Images, decorative papers and even sentiments.
I added snowdrifts to simulate the idea of being at the north pole. I covered up the "Santa Stops Here" that was written on the sign post beside Bella whose sitting on a fence and die cut out North Pole to replace it with. Happy Christmas card creating!

The team have been really busy again this week - thankyou Team and big welcome to our new ladies too!

So let's see what the Design Team have been making this week, which is all about Thanks ...

Christin - A new challenge starts and for my card I also used the large autumn/fall stamp set. I used the beautiful pumpkin which I simply mirrored at the computer - I love the opportunities I have with digistamps;) I colored everything with my alcohol markers and I hope you like it.

Wendy - Hello and a Happy Choosday everyone I hope you are having a lovely crafty week. This week is all about saying thank you so I chose to create a special card for my special best friend, just to say thank you for being my friend, using the sweet Mailing Letters digital stamp from the Noodle Panda collection. I've created a simple inky background to match my colour palette, keeping it simple and cheerful and added a sentiment from the collection.

Monika - Hi all amazing crafters! I absolutely love mixing and matching different collections from Polkadoodles and I decided to create quite an unusual Thank you card. The Flower Bouquet image is just perfect for any Thank You cards, it is super easy and fun to colour in. Then, I used the design papers from Baked With Love Gingerbread (the stripy green), Winnie Sugar Sprinkles Paper Heaven 2 Bundle (the dotty green) and the light green and brown dotty design paper comes from Work & Play 10 Paper Heaven collection. To embellish the project, I used the leaves from Autumn/Fall Digi Stamps collection. I hope you will enjoy mixing these collections together to create your own stunning Thank You cards quillinglady.blogspot.com/ https://www.youtube.com/craftingwithquillinglady

Maritza: Hello my crafty friends for this week, I made a card using a digital image Honeypie with Flowers Bouquet, this image painted with colours pencils. Paper are digital of collection Spring in to The Easter.

Nat Martin - Hi everyone! Every moment is a perfect occasion to say thank you, but on ThanksGiving Day we have the Best opportunity to do it, so, l created this card to thank you a very special friend of mine.. You could find the cute digital stamp Love Heart HoneyPie the lovely papers and the Sentiments at the website.
For the colouring I have used these copic markers:

So let's see what the Design Team have been making this week, which is all about red and green ...

Candace - For today's challenge project, the theme is Christmas treats/goodies, anything food and use red and green. I made this cute tag to add to any Christmas baking! I used the image Dazzle Reindeer Baking, sentiment from Gingerbread Holly Printable Greetings/Sentiments, Happy Christmas 6x6 Paper Pack and Posydoodles Tag Die.

Catrin - Hi everyone! My treats and goodies post I have used the image 'Shop Window,- from the Gingerbread Holly digital range. The backing paper is from Baked with Love -Paper Heaven 1. I then added some embellishments and created the sentiment myself in MSword.

Jane – This ‘sweet’ little fella is THEO PENGUIN CANDY STICK and I have used the FUNKY VORTEX STENCIL to make him a few extra candy sticks for later. I also used this stencil to create the background and fussy cut and coloured the sentiment from THEO PENGUIN GREETING BUNDLE.

Kim S - Happy Digi Choosday everyone, Are you a start early on your Christmas card designs or procrastinate and wait last minute kinda person? I'm always rushing to finish my personal cards 5 or 6 days before christmas 😂 For our Design Team Challenge this week it's all about Christmas Treats and Goodies using traditional Reds and Greens. I chose one of the Gingerbread Holly digis called Gingerbread Holly Cupcake for my card which i coloured in with my Copic markers. For my digital paper choices i picked Gingerbread Holly pack 1  as well as Bella Bear-y Christmas paper pack 1 and paper pack 2. I added glitter to the cupcake icing and glitter glue to the holly leaves and berries as well as the bow on the cupcake wrapper. I finished my card off with lots of mulberry flowers. And finally I chose a crystal bauble flower pick for added sparkle as the final touch. Hope you'll join in on this week's challenge.

Martine - I am back with a tasty card..a card with a Gingerbread! ...and i started eating allready LOL...I used Oh Crumbs and made him a lot bigger this time ( about 14 cm) . I added some little gingerbreads to the card and also the paper is ready to eat... Gingerbread Holly Papers 2 it's called. I Added some snowflakes and my card was finished!

Shruti - I've created a one layer explosion box as a Christmas Gift/Goodies . As this  theme was Christmas Gift/Goodies with red and green color palette I've used Strawberry Cream Cupcake and Set 1 Christmas printable digital paperIsn't this a cute gift idea for festive seasons? We can replace chocolates and Cupcake with any other things as per our choices. Hope you like this ❤️ Stay tuned on my IG @minal_magic to watch the reel of this creation 🥳

Jennifer - For this weeks project, I got so excited to start holiday cards, that I made 3!
For the gingerbread family card, I started with Polkadoodles digital products "gingerbread holly gift wrapping" and "gingerbread holly decorating the tree". I edited them together in procreate to have this cute little gingerbread family decorating their tree together. I printed the scene on heavy cardstock and colored it with alcohol markers. For the jolly sentiment from the "gingerbread holly sentiment pack", I used some gold transfer foil and a laminator to add some shine. I also added some glitter and clear gloss to to a few small elements in the scene with gel pens. Before adding the card panel to the base, I matted it onto some brushed gold cardstock to match the gold foiling. As a final touch, I printed a sheet of holly pattern paper from Polkadoodles "gingerbread holly paper printables" and glued it to my card base as the last layer. Everything in the gingerbread holly collection is so pretty. So I printed a couple of full color sentiments and layered them on some more pattern paper from the gingerbread holly pack. They both got the same gold layer with a red or green card base.
It's always so fun and simple creating with the Polkadoodles digital products. I hope you like these festive cards I've created this week. Have a jolly, creative day! -Jennifer @pueen_queen

Samantha - It’s another Digi Chooseday and for this current challenge featuring Christmas treats and goodies, I selected the Hot Chocolate digital stamp from the Octavia Frosted Winter collection. What says Christmas more than peppermint hot cocoa!?! I decided to create a one layer card scene by combining Octavia with the Colouring scene 4 Christmas printable background digi on Kraft cardstock. Since there was so much detail in the image I thought Polychromos color pencils would work best. Upon finishing my scene, I added a pattern paper border from the Elvis Wesley Moose themed papers and a cute sentiment from the Winnie White Christmas Sentiments set.

The team have been really busy again this week - thankyou Team and big welcome to our new ladies too!
