So let's get to today's challenge...

Our fabulous Design Team are showing you some ideas for a Christmas card this week - we hope you can all get some great inspiration here!


MARZENA - I created a card and a gift tag for this week's challenge. I used the cute Mr & Mrs Claus and coloured it with Copics. I attached the DSP to the side of the card and then I stamped the snowflakes with Galaxy Gold from Brilliance Dew Drop on the left side and the trees in lush green behind the Mr & Mrs Claus stamp set.
Underneath I stamped the lettering in black directly onto the card. I printed out and plotted the poinsettia. I glued the second one on top as a 3D effect.

I had leftover paper from the card. I cut it to size and attached it to
the tag which I cut using this die. I coloured this adorable Noel Mouse with Copics. I think she is so cute. I have the saying from the Winter Flurries stamp set stamped on a small stripe and I also got the Christmas greenery from the set: Winnie Winterland Foliage.

Anita - Our theme was a Christmas image and I saw this darling deer set, Winter Deer  - Octavia Frosted Winter, I knew I wanted to create a sparkly winter scene. The set is printed twice, resized and flipped to create a scene of 4 deer. The Peace and Joy sentiment comes from the free digitals offers. An ink blended night sky, watercolored deer and some sparkle with Glitter Glaze creates a beautiful Christmas card. 


Annette (Netty's Cards) - I'm still building my stash of festive cards with this Chrismas Cracker shaped card featuring Bella Delivering Gifts. The papers are from Eden Paper Heaven 2 and Lily Bug Love Paper Heaven 3, both coloured blue in MSWord. As usual, my image is watercoloured using Ranger Distress Ink Reinkers. The cracker shape is a standard A6 cardbase, with 'V' cutouts either side of the top and bottom, and die cut edges at both ends.

Rose - Hello friends in blogland - how are you all doing? Glad that you can join us all in our challenge. Today I am sharing my new slimline card for which I am using Waddy Penguin Christmas Tree together Wanda Penguin Hanging Bunting. Using digital designer paper Winnie Winterland - Paper Heaven 2 & Winnie Winterland - Paper Heaven 4 . Love the cute image and this card adds to my collections. Read more on my blog. Myriam - It’s Christmas in July! I have already started making Christmas cards so that I have a head start before the busy December period. I have printed the precoloured stamp Happy Snowman Couple four times and built the image up in 3D with foam pads. The Winnie Christmas Wishes Papers fit perfectly with the image, just as the sentiment from Winnie White Christmas Festive Word Art.

Maritza - Hello my crafty friends, Christmas in July! Christmas is our theme for this week. I made a card with digital image Santa's Suiti of collection Winnie North Pole, and digital papers and embellishments are digital collection Winnie Winterland 


Maz - Christmas in July - I could be doing with some snow right now - the heat in the UK is unbearable! For my Christmas project, I used a variety of Christmas stamp sets for this winter scene. The trees and houses are from Holly Blessing stamp set and Christmas Scene stamp set (no longer available) The Peace & Love text images are from Heartfelt Joy stamp set. I stencilled the background trees using Christmas Tree Layering Stencil . The cute little snowman is from the Snowball Kisses stamp set. More details can be found on my blog.


Roberta - To make it I used two different digitals: Noel Christmas Mouse and Bauble wishes - Twiggy & Toots. I cut out two shapes of tags using Printable Papers 3 - Winnie White Christmas and I glued it on green bazzil by cutting out the tag template.

Our fabulous Design Team are showing you some ideas for a slimline card this week - we hope you can all get some great inspiration here!

 Jane – I have a tall, shaped card for the challenge today using pre-coloured images, paper and sentiment from the WINNIE STARFISH & SANDCASTLES download. I took all the images into Word, resized and overlapped them and then adhered to a card blank and cut it out.  Simple really!

Candace - For today's challenge project, the theme is slimline card, use any product and make a slimline card. I used Winnie Starfish/Sandcastles Paper for the background of my slimline card.  I used the image Winnie Mermaid, copic colored her up and pop dotted to the center. The sentiment is from Winnie Mermaid Quotes.

Madison - For the slimline card challenge today I have used the cute Winnie celebration stamp. She is flying up the card which has been backed with the butterfly papers from the Winnie Fruit Papers. I have added the Good Luck sentiment to make is a lovely inspirational card. 

Sam - For my Slimline card  I wanted to use some of those cute images from the Too Cute range...there were sooo many to choose from so I went with the ones that could fly: Too Cute Owl Love and Too Cute Heart Basket.  I found the sentiment in the Winnie Celebrations Sentiments 3 and the paper in the Horace & Boo Paper Heaven 3 pack.  Happy Crafting!
LEE...Happy Summer! I know I'm enjoying the beautiful weather and rainy afternoons on my mountain! So I thought a fun, colorful card was a perfect fit!  I made a slimline card - 3.5" x 7" - and used the absolutely adorable Spring Showers and this fabulous Bright and Beautiful paper! The Poseydoodles Basic Oval dies and Poseydoodles Basic Tag dies were such a perfect fit. Add a touch of bling with the Lilac Doodle Dewdrops! I hope you all have a creative week!

LEE...Happy ChoosDay everyone!! I have a cheery rainbowy card today! This sweet little Bella Bear Bouquet wanted to share a smile and some rainbow vibes! She's perfect along with the Rainbow Papers downloadable bundle and downloadable Winnie Sunshine Embellishments! The little Birdie wooden button and Rainbow/Unicorn themed button just topped off the cuteness!  I hope you get some crafty time and play along with us this week!

LAURA...I thought it would be fun to give my slimline card a hand drawn postcard feel.  The background was made using papers from Winnie Starfish/Sandcastles papers 10.  I positioned the Winnie Ice-cream Camera/Selfie digi stamp so that Winnie could take a photo of her and her friend Relaxing on her Sunlounger.  The scene was built using a sentiment and lots of Embellie stamps from the VIP XXL Winnie Starfish/Sandcastles bundle.  Once my colouring was complete, I traced over the whole image with a fine liner to add the sketchy feel. 

KIM - Happy almost to the weekend!  For today's challenge of "use an image with flowers" I chose to make a Slimline card(my first one) using the wonderful and ever so sweet Winnie from the Celebrations line - such a cutie to colour up with my Copics. I paired Winnie with digi papers from https://www.polkadoodles.co.uk/winnie-celebrations-3-papers-2-digital-download/as well as https://www.polkadoodles.co.uk/winnie-celebrations-3-papers-1-digital-download/ . As a final touch i added little aurora borealis crystals around Winnie since she always shines bright.

So let's get to today's challenge...

Our fabulous Design Team are showing you some ideas for a FAMILY theme this week - we hope you can all get some great inspiration here!...

LEIGH -  I found these amazing whales hiding in the Winnie Starfish & Sandcastles collection - you really need to look around the store and in the bundles as there are literally 100's & 100's of extras hiding away in all the value bundles! I wanted to use this image with a twist so I've combined all 3 to make a cute whale family!


LEIGH -  I also found this cute image and I couldn't resist using this to create a Thank You card I needed to make. This image is called Too Cute Turtle Love, again I combined two images together...


ROBERTA - This is a tag I made for my sister's birthday! To make it I used the Lavender digital stamp, printed it on cardboard suitable for use with alcohol markers, and then I colored it in. I punched the shape of a tag on both white card and kraft card; I uncorked the shape on kraft cardboard and glued it onto the white one. To create the background, I used Distress Oxides in shades: Seedless Preserves, Fossilized Amber, Tea Dye and Vintage Photo. Then I stamped the tag, again with Oxides, using the stamps of the Textures Galore Stamp Set 11 plank and then I stamped and embossed the Queen of Hearts stamp. Finally, with a stencil and white chalk, I made dots here and there.


ANITA – We were challenged to create a card for a family member using kraft paper in the project. This card is for my daughter who is competing in a Food Network Burger Challenge to come up with a new recipe. This Burger Digital Stamp was just perfect! I printed the image on Kraft paper and colored in with pencils. The sentiment on the flag is from Winnie Celebrations #2 Sentiment Set and the lovely green starred paper is from Opera Theme Paper Craft Download.  Win or lose, I know my daughter will be great!


Kim Stewart - I created my project this week using wonderfully cute Darling Buds Primrose. I chose 3 papers from the equally adorable Winnie Let's Hang Out collection.

MARZENA - For the family theme I made a birthday card for my mother-in-law. Since my mother-in-law's birthday is coming up soon anyway, I made her a birthday card with the cute Winnie Sugar Sprinkles Digital Download. I used the colours pink to match the papers from the same collection.
I punched out the design paper in the background with theses die punches. The flowers are from the set Picknix 1. In The Garden Download Bundle I cut out with the plotter and have attached them to the card at a slight angle. The word Happy Birthday I also cut the word to size with the plotter from the Sentiments Winnie Celebrations 1. I created the word mother-in-law from the set Winnie Sugar Sprinkles Sentiments with the die punch from the set Posydoodles Dies. I added the pearls to the card with Nuvo Drops Vintage Rose.


MARZENA - I have also made a card for my mother with which I would like to thank her just like that. Here, too, I coloured the sweet Winnie in the same colours as the card for my mother-in-law, using Copics. The words Thank You from this sentiment, and Mum from the Winnie Sugar Sprinkles Sentiment set. I printed them directly onto the white paper and cut them out as a square. The design paper is from the set: Winnie Sugar Sprinkles Paper Heaven. I kept the background in green and stamped it with the stamp from this stamp set. I also stamped the hearts in pale pink.



Annette - I'm sharing my Father's Day card featuring Boo the kitty (which I've mirrored, so he's facing to the right) and some softly spotty papers from Winnie Sugar Sprinkles 2 collection. My image is water-coloured using Ranger Distress Ink Reinkers.


Maritza - Hello my crafty friends ... for this week, our theme is: use Kraft. I made a mini gift bag for a family member and I have used a digital stamp that I printed on kraft paper and I have painted it with colored pencils. The digi stamp I used is Let's Go Winnie. I have embellished this bag with remnants of digital papers from various collections and I have made a fake stitch.


Maz - For my 'Kraft Card' project, everything is from the beautiful  Rose Budd Download Collection. I subtly coloured Miss Charlotte using Copics and attached a parasol to her. Adding a little lace border anglais to the edges, to give it that shabby feel. 'To My Wife' sentiment is from Everlasting Sentiments Stamp Set.

Myriam - I have created a card for my aunt who will turn 60 in August. I positioned a picture of her into a frame from the Picknix Craft Bundle. The number ‘60’ is added twice to the digital stamp Gnometastic Birthday Surprise by using Microsoft Word. Just like I have added a Winnie Celebrations 3 birthday sentiment to the frame too.

Further, I have used embellishments from 3 different collections (which are in sale, check out the clearance section in the Polkadoodles shop!): cake is from Picknix Craft Bundle, the presents, balloon, champagne glasses & birds are from the Winston Deluxe Collection & the single white flower is from the Rose Budd Craft Collection. Background paper is from Winnie Sunshine Delights and for the sides I’ve used these Plain Distress Ink Papers. 


Rose - Hello friends! How are you? For today's challenge I have created a Birthday card and a slim candle box using the digital image Bella Bear Daisy  together with the digital designer papers Winnie Celebrations 3 & Lou the Teacher  incorporated with beautiful sentiment from Winnie Sugar Sunshine for the card. I have used different set of designer papers for candle box Summer Breeze Papers. I coloured the image with my favourite medium Copic Markers.
