We're delighted to welcome Megan Cooper to the team this week - we know you're going to love her projects and we're already loving this super cute project she's made for this challenge - welcome Megan, we're thrilled to have you on the team!
Megan Cooper - Hello! My card today is my first design team contribution, and I am excited to share a triangle shaped card. I used the adorable Honeypie Sweet Flower Bouquet as my focal image. The triangle background features a piece of floral paper from the Just Lovely Honeypie digital papers. The sentiment is one of 31 sentiments in the Just Lovely Honeypie greetings/sentiment bundle. Yes, I said 31! The pack of sentiments has so many versatile sayings in it that will pair well with so many of the sweet digital stamp images. My Instagram: @lazydazestampin

KIM STEWART - Today's Design Team Challenge is Images with flowers and an Unusual Card Shape. For my image I chose one of the Darling Buds girls, called Primrose (bet ya thought I was going to pick Winnie) HA! not this time; much as i wanted to. I didn't use much design paper this time, but what i did chose i changed it's colour and saturation rate because i didn't have any dark blue that would go with my colour scheme on my card. I picked paper from Winnie Starfish and Sandcastles download pack 4. The colour scheme in the paper pak is more of a turquoise and i changed it to more of a dark blue. I also added more digital flowers from Freddy Fox Ephemera pack . FInally I added some glitter glue to all the flowers to make them sparkly and pretty. What have you been working on this week? We'd love to see what's on your craft table.
Betsy - Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing this 5" x 7" card using the new Daisy Wings Stamp Matchables and the Daisy Dragonfly Stamp Matchables. I stamped out my images and colored them using Copic markers. I used clear glitter paste along with the coordinating stencil for the flowers. I used Stickles on the foremost dragonfly wing. Then I die cut the images using the coordinating dies. I cut my background paper to 4" x 6" and adhered it to my card base. I popped up the dragonfly and flowers with foam tape. I stamped my sentiment right on the base. I added little iridscent gems to the background. And that finished my card!
Copic Colors used: YG01, YG03, YG17, YG67, Y02, Y08, YR24,
E97, RV52, RV06, RV19, RV69, V000, V01, V04, V06, V09,
YG91, YG95, E43,RV10, Y00, B000, BV000, B00, V12
Candace - For today's challenge project, the theme is flowers, use an image with flowers and make an unusual card shape. I made a flower shaped card using the image Sunshine Delight Bouquet and papers from Spring Gnomes.
Jane – I made an anniversary card for one of my brothers using the lovely PERFECT PEONY Digi Deal and a sentiment from WINGS OF LOVE. The numbers I used are from the TONS OF LOVE collection.
Julie Barnes - The challenge this week was for a flower card with an unusual shape, so after searching for templates I came across the instructions for a standing flowerpot card and decided that would be perfect. Having made up the base and insert I stamped out several flowers from the stamp set PDz7452
Daisy Days and coloured them with some Ohuhu and Copic markers. I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set onto the insert and then started to build up the card with the flowers I had fussy cut out. I finished off by adding a little bling to the centre of a couple of the flowers.
I used colours:
Ohuhu: YR030/070/090/110 G130/190 and Copics B00/B02
Huge thanks to the design team for all their inspiration today - we hope we've given you lots of ideas to use in your own cards - remember! We LOVE you to copy the ideas we show you, it's what we're here for!
