So let's see what the Design Team have been making this week...we hope you're inspired!...
Julie Barnes - Here is a card I have made using one stamp set called Great Day Florals PD7148. Such a lovely set and so versatile. The aim was not to use any pinks - that is hard! I started by ink blending a 6 x 6 card base and stamped several of the flowers and elements onto the card and shaded some. I stamped, coloured and fussy cut the larger flower head and toadstool and added to the front of the card to give it some depth. I then used papers fromVintage Candy paper pack PD8004 for the inside of the card, decorated the insert and envelope to math. I used my Faber Castell pencils for this make using the following colours:
- Cobalt Turquoise • Light Cobalt Turquoise • Emerald Green • Light Green • Light Cadmium Yellow • Light Yellow • Orange Glaze • Cadmium Orange
Betsy - I decided to use the Alcea Hollyhock Flowers for my project. I sized it and printed it out. I used Google Images for color inspiration. Copic colors used: Y00, Y00, Y11, Y21 Y02, R83, YG21, YG11, YG63, YG03, Y19. I fussy cut the image and prepared a white A2 size top folding card base. I used an embossing folder for another white panel that was trimmed 1/2" smaller. I used a sentiment from my stash and popped up the flowers and the sentiment on foam tape. Peachy yellow gems completed my card!
CHRISTIN - For my new card I combined this cute Butterfly Fairy Winnie Daisy with the flowering Helga Hippo Pretty Printable Papers 4. Isn’t it a beautiful match? The Winnie Daisy I get pre-colored so I didn’t have so much more to do for creating this card for a little birthday girl who loves fairies.
Wendy - Hello everyone and happy Digi Choosday - my favourite day of the week ! Today I've made a pretty floral wreath card using the gorgeous pre-coloured flowers and foliage bundle from the Helga Hippo collection. I love the pretty teal and cream flowers and they are really easy to fussy cut out. I've used one of the papers from paper set 1. The sentiment is also from the collection and this is glued to an acetate window so it appears to float. Have a fabulous week ahead! Crafty Hugs x
Maz - for my unusual shaped card featuring an image with flowers, I used my favourite Bella Bear character - Bella Bear Daisy. I coloured her and the flowers using the August Birthstone colours of reds, greens and purples, using Copics. Sentiment is from Winnie Special Moments Quotes. All details can be found on my blog
Maritza: Hello my crafty friends, this is my card for this week, I have used a digital image of Crocus Flower Girls Darling Buds, I painted with colours pencils, digital papers are Eden Collection, I have added some layers with different papers and shapes that I have cut out with basic dies, some flowers and at the top a wax seal lavender colour. Happy Crafting!
Wendy - Hello everyone wishing you all a wonderful week. My simple easel card this week used one of my favourite recent collections - Noodle Panda. Who wouldn't want to receive a bouquet of flowers from this little cutie called Flower Bouquet. Sending love and crafty hugs.
Huge thanks to the design team for all their inspiration today - we hope we've given you lots of ideas to use in your own cards - remember! We LOVE you to copy the ideas we show you, it's what we're here for!
