KIM STEWART - Happy Digi Choosday, What’s on your craft desk this week? We’d love to see what you’ve been working on. Our challenge theme this week was to use either vellum or acetate somewhere in our project. I chose vellum this time. I started with diecutting 3 circles which I ink blended with my Distress Oxide inks. I used Fossilized Amber, Ripe Persimmon and Candied Apple & Squeezed lemonade, Twisted Citron plus Cracked Pistachio and finally Kitsch flamingo, Picked Raspberry and Peacock Feathers for my 3 combinations. I covered each ink blended circle with a piece of die cut vellum which gives the ink a more muted look. Noodle the Panda is the star of my card this time. All 3 images come from Noodle Panda Bear set 3. My paper choice comes a halloween set called Gnome Halloween Trick or Treat.
Betsy - Hello everyone, this week I've colored this lovely daffodil flower in bright yellows, I needed to cheer someone up and this is just the job. Check out the Blooms 2 Daffodil Flower bundle with this printable included, it's such great value!
Martine - Hello, this week I've made a cute card with Barista Coffee/ Cake printable stamp . We had to use acetate or vellum for this one, I used acetate and I glued her on it and also glued a little fence on it. At the side I used a sentiment from Lily Ladybug Ladybird themed Messages. Then i used some background papers, called Coffee Tea and Cake Paper patterns. As always I colored with my distress inks.
Åsa -Hi crafty friends! We at the designteam were asked to use acetate or vellum this time. I made a non-typical Åsa card. Most of my cards have a white background but I went for black this time and with a piece of vellum. I´ve used Lilac Haze and a sentiment from Birthday Sentiments and greetings. I coloured my flower with copics.
Candace - For today's challenge project, the theme is use acetate or vellum and make anything. I used vellum that I put over top of the polka dot pattern paper from Lily Bug Ladybird. I used the image Gardening Lily Ladybug which I copic colored and pop dotted ontop of the vellum paper. I also glued the sentiment, which is from Everyday Greetings and Quotes - Winnie Daisy Fairy.
Jane – This gorgeous image is called NATURES BEAUTY and she is one of the fabulous DIGI DEALS. I created some flowers using acetate for this card, I love the transparency you can get.
