Today we have 3 new DT members to introduce - please welcome Lorena, Monika and MariaG to the team, we're excited to see their wonderful work & hope you'll follow their blogs & social media along with the rest of the team! 

So let's take a look at the Design Team's creations this week!

Lorena - Happy New Year 2023! To start the year I show you a Valentine-themed rocket card. I have chosen Bobby Bear with his garland of hearts since he is adorable! This time I have colored and made the background with colored pencils. And I have chosen the greeting from a download of Love Always printable sentiments here. Do you like the result? Hugs! x
MariaG - Hello everybody, I hope you had a lovely holiday season and you received lots of new crafting goodies that I'm sure you can't wait to try out. For this card I have used the Daisy Heart Gnome, she looks so cute holding that heart. I have used my colour pencils to colour Daisy and cut her out and 3D mounted onto a background using the Love/Romance Love and Kisses paper bundle 3, which I matted onto 3 layers. I added some silk paper and pink card and added the Love is in the air sentiment which I downloaded from the Love Always Printable Sentiments big bundle and finished off with some gem embellishments. I hope you like the card and have a go at making one yourself. Bye for now, MariaG.
Monika - Hi all crafters - I want to share with you my first project. I created a winter wedding card using a 'Bride & Groom' digi stamp which is so much fun to work with. This digi stamp is perfect to colour in using a variety of media; for my project I used alcohol markers and metallic watercolour paints to add some sparkle. For the background I used a beautiful 'Winnie Wonderland Paper Heaven 5' design paper and a sentiment from 'Barista Coffee/Cake Bundle'. To embellish the project, I used a snowflake punch. Happy crafting! 

  Rose- Hello peeps in blogland, what a better way to start the year with Love. For the current challenge I am using digital image Scruff Dog with Heart Cookies combined with designer digital papers  form Lily Bug Love Paper Heaven 1.  I attached a printed sentiment with Heart Wreath Die & Paw Die, with few gems.  Read more on my blog HERE.

Maritza: Hello my crafty friends, I wish you all the best for this new year. For this week I made a banner, I have used this collection Stick and Bones. I have used two precolored images: Stick Bones Let's Go Dinosaurs, and Walk the Dinosaur Girl. Happy Crafty

Maz - for my Valentine themed project, I have used pre-coloured Love Bird Heart Bunting from the NEW Wings of Love Valentine Collection. Background paper is from the same collection. I attached a few hearts from Topper Sheet 1 and the sentiment is from Topper Sheet 3. I stenciled the background using Blossoming Rose Stencil. All details are on my blog

Christin - For the valentines challenge I used the snowmen frosty hugs. I put them in a sparkle heartwreath. The background I coloured with a touch of pink and some speckles.

We are very excited to welcome a new Design Team member today - please say a big hello to Lorena, and we hope you'll all love her projects, please follow her blog!..

Lorena - Hello! I'm Lorena and this is my first project for the Polka Doodles design team. I have used this spectacular fairy digital stamp that I have colored with alcohol markers and then I have tinted with colored pencils. For the first plane of the card I have used a paper printed with small polka dots belonging to pack zodiac co-ordinates. To complete the set, a small sentiment dedicated to the new year 2023. I hope you like it and it inspires you in your creations. All the best for Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Catrin - Todays Inspiration I am using the image Theo Penguin 'Sleigh Time'. I coloured the image with Nuvo Markers and then fussy cut around the top part of the image leaving a slope at the bottom half. I then die cut a square from the Snow backing paper taken from the Theo Penguin Paper Bundle 3 Pack. Using foam pads I added the penguins over the snow backing paper. The happy Holidays sentiment is taken from the Theo Penguin - Greetings/Sentiment pack and I have uploaded it onto my Cricut to cut it out.
Melanie - Morning Crafters, Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas when it arrives. The design team were asked to create a project with the theme New Year using a particular colour palette. Today I have made a card for New Year. Firstly I created an ink blended background using my distress oxides in the colours of seedless preserves, faded jeans and Peacock feathers. I then created a card mat using the Circle star numbers and the zodiac chart from the Zodiac collection, I used numbers 20 and 23, I then added the sentiment 'Best Wishes for the New Year' which is from the Winnie white Christmas. I purposely left the Zodiac chart and numbers black and white so that the background stood out. To finish off the card I coloured the stars in a gold colour and added some glossy accents to the bigger stars.

Jane – My fairy tale New Year’s card is based on the Cinderella story and stars WINNIE FAIRYTALE DREAMER. As you can see, she is fleeing down the staircase as the clock strikes midnight leaving her shoe behind. I made the sentiment by cropping and adding ‘Best Wishes for a Happy New Year’ from WINNIE WHITE CHRISTMAS (which is also where I got the numbers) and ‘Fairy Tale’ from the SERENITY SENTIMENT PACK. The background was created using the CONFETTI LAYERING and CELEBRATION stencils. As this is my last post of 2022 may I wish everyone a very happy Christmas and a safe and healthy New Year! See you in 2023! xx
Candace - I used the image Tweet Sounds - Winnie Angel, sentiment from Winnie White Christmas and different paper packs to go with color palette. I also copic colored the image to reflect the color palette. Love how this card turned out to be just more than a New Year's card!!

Martine - Hello everyone...this year is almost over and so i have a New Years card for you. I have used Winnie Sugar Sprinkles Springtime for it .And i have used a lot of sprinkles! In the papers that is lol. Well... i hope you all having a wonderful Christmas and New Year...and stay crafty for the next year!!

Wendy - Hello everyone - today I have created a card for a Winter Wedding, I've used the Wedding Car digital stamp from Work and Play 9 - Love and Kisses, coloured with Promarkers. The sentiment is from the Winnie Daisy Greetings bundle and the Wintery papers are from the Rose Budd Collection.

Christin - How do you imagine a winter wedding? In my imagination a black wedding suit and a dark red dress is a beautiful eyecatcher on a snowy winter wonderland. That is why I coloured the bride and groom stamp in this way and made this wedding card. For the background I used a beautiful paper from the Winnie Winterland Paper Heaven 5.

Rose Andrew  Hello crafty peeps, welcome! Today, I am using digital image of Bride & Groom from Work & Play 9 Collection  with digital paper collection from the same I am using a PRE Coloured digital image, fussy cut around the image and adhere on 3d pop dots into the circle. Handmade paper bow together with printed sentiment. 

Maritza:  Hello my crafty friends, for this week our theme for team is Wedding Winter, and I love this theme. I got married at this time, a few years ago.For my card I used the digital  collection Work Play  Love Kisses, I used precolored image Bride & Groom. I have created some dimension in the dress, print the image 2 times and add lace. Digital papers are Wizardy Magic Little Dude. Happy crafting!
