So let's see what the Design Team have been making this week, which is all about Halloween ...

Jennifer @Pueen Queen - Hello crafty friend, For today's project, I've created a bright colorful Halloween card using some great digital downloads from Polkadoodles. For the background, I began by heat embossing a spiderweb onto smooth white cardstock. Then, I chose some bold distress inks to ink blend a background that pops. I started by blending a touch of carved pumpkin into crackling campfire. Then some fired brick, villainous potion and finally chipped sapphire for a dramatic gradient. For the main image, I just had to use this adorable mummy trick-or-treater called "mummy boo halloween". I paired him with a cute pumpkin candy pail and 'BOO' banner from the new digital printable halloween release "hocus pocus". I was able to print the images I chose in any size I wanted. Which is such an awesome aspect of printable images! I colored all 3 elements with alcohol markers and added a few finishing touches with a white gel pen and a glaze gel pen to add some shiny details.
I cut down my background panel to 3½" by 4¾" to have a chunky black boarder. I arranged my images so they were laying beyond the inked panel, onto the black boarder, so they really draw your attention. The digital printable stamps from Polkadoodles are so fun an versatile to work with. Having the ability to resize your images is my favorite part of the process. The possibilities are endless! I hope you like this spooky cute card I created today. Have a creative day!...Mummy boo image, Hocus pocus printables, Distress ink

Samantha - It is Digi Choosday time again, and the DT team was asked to make projects featuring Halloween. I was excited for project because I am pretty sure Halloween is my all-time favorite cardmaking season. Yes… I love Halloween cards even more than Christmas cards, but it is close. For my project, I chose the haunting Oddella with bag and I paired her with images from the Poppy Flower bundle. I Copic colored both Oddella and the poppy flowers in shades of purple and dusty violet and fussy cut each image. For the poppies, I colored a few select petals from duplicate poppy images that I then fussy cut and adhered to my main image with foam tape to create depth and dimension. I placed everything onto a dark ink-blended background and added a border using paper from the Halloween/Autumn Paper Heaven 1 digital paper bundle and a sentiment from the Halloween Trick or Treat printable Sentiments bundle. I hope you find this card as spooky fun as I do.

Jane – There’s some spooky goings-on on my card today. I have used the fabulous new HALLOWEEN KITS to create a little midnight scene. The cat is from HOCUS POCUS WITCHES, the ‘dangling’ ghostie is from GHASTLY GHOST and the bat & moon are from HALLOWEEN TREAT. The gorgeous digital paper in the background can be found in TRICK OR TREAT BUNDLE 1.

Candace - For today's challenge project, the theme is Halloween. I made this adorable card using the image Pumpkins Halloween Gnome, sentiment from Halloween Trick or Treat Greetings and Spooky Special Halloween Paper Pack 6x6. I aligned the sentiment below the image and then printed out. I used a die cut to cut the image out.

Shruti - This time the challenge theme was Halloween ๐ŸŽƒ. So I created this ๐ŸŽƒ Pumpkin shaped card/tag using Pumpkin Girl Boo Halloween. Hope you like it as much as I love making this ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿงก.

Martine - Almost Halloween!!! I love that time of year! So i made you this fun card. It is a shape from a Dutch brand, called Dutchdoobadoo and i liked those points: it looks like bat wings...I used Willa Witch Halloween for this card...isn't she adorable? And did you see those printable papers? I love that you can put everything together. This one is called Halloween/Autumn PaperHeaven 1 . And i added some text to...Spooky sentiments ( don't forget your broomstick) and Halloween Trick or Treat ( Trick or Treat) . At the end i added some bats from the paper to it, it gives a little bit dept.
Till the next one!

Catrin - Hi Everyone! For my Haloween card I have used the digital image - Mummy Boo Halloween coloured with promarkers and Fussy Cut. For the background I have masked of a circle and used distress inks and flicks of black and white paint to create the night sky. Once dry I used distress inks and the Funnk Vortex Grid stencil to crete the floor. I added some batts by used the Going Batty stencil and die cut and distressed the sentiment from Halloween Trick or Treat Printable Greetings

Kim Stewart - Halloween has to be one of the funnest holidays; especially now I have grandchildren. I can't wait to go out trick or treating with them this year. For our Halloween Themed Design Team Project this week I created a Pop up card with a Belly Band. The belly band has one of the coloured digis attached to it from the Hocus Pocus digital set Inside i used bats and pumpkins and little kitties plus another cutie witch for the pop up part of my card. I put the bats on acetate strips so they look like they're flying. Everything was coloured with my Copic markers. My paper choices come from Wanda Paper digital paper pack 3, Gnome Trick or Treat Halloween digital paper packs 2 & Gnome Trick or Treat Halloween coordinates digital paper pack . My sentiments come from the Ghastly Ghosts download bundle You can find me at https://www.Instagram.com/lady_kashmir

So let's see what the Design Team have been making this week, which is all about Hats and Scarves without using red and green colours...

Catrin - Hi everyone! sharing with you today my card using Shopping Wanda - Coloued with promarkers. I have also cut and pasted the digital Shopping bags from Wanda Ephemera Bundle onto some of the papers in Set 3 - Wanda Printable Ppaers and fussy cut. The sentiment is taken from Messages and Quotes - Wanda

Jane – This sweet little GINGERBREAD BELLA is from the new CHRISTMAS BEAR COLLECTION that also includes the sentiment and paper I have used.

Candace- For today's challenge project, the theme is hats and scarves and no red or green color. I used the image Celebration Winnie Winter with Zodiac Paper Pack and Paper Harmony. The sentiment is from Birthday Sentiments and Greetings. I also used Stitched Circle Die to mat image on center of card.

Kim Stewart - Here we are into Fall and Christmas crafting, already? Summer seems to have slipped by us (at least on this side of the world) For our Design Team challenge this week it was all about Hats & Scarves and no Red or Green. I knew exactly what colour combination I was going to use. I love this pink and turquoise combo. It's so fresh and vibrant and non traditional for Christmas. I chose the Bauble Hat Bella black and white digi from the new Too Cute Bella Bear Christmas set which i coloured with my Copic Markers. I added some glitter to her hat trim and pom pom for lots of glittery fun. My paper choices come from Theo Penguin paper packs 3 & 4 as well as Bella Bear Christmas paper pack 1. I added some a few packages and a tree from the ephemera pack and some mulberry flowers in the same colours to tie everything together.

Martine - Hey, it's the season to catch a cold...be carefull ! But.. if you are sick i made you this card. I Used Sparkle Unicorn digistamp called Get well soon . Are you feeling a little bit better already? I loved the sentiment..so appropriate for this card - Serenity Fairy Wishes sentimentals... So.. hope you feel better soon !

Shruti - This time the challenge theme was "Hat and Scarves" so I thought of making a card using this Winnie Sugar Sprinkles Design Sheet 6. I made a big easel card using this sheet ๐Ÿค— Hope you all will like this. Shruti ❤️

Jennifer @pueen_queen - It's starting to get chilly outside, so I decided to make a COOL interactive winter scene card. I used the the Theo Penguin digital stamp along with the Theo penguin paper bundle to start off. I used this beautiful blue snowflake background to set my sky, and then I took some white glitter paper from my stash for the hills. After I figured out my card layout, I used a peice of scrap card, matching the one I want my characters to sled down, to cut a matching hill. Then I used a die to cut out the path they'll take. You can also cut a slit with scissors or a cricut, as long as your foam dots will slide through.
I glued another small peice of card to the back of my sled, to work as an extension & then stuck it to 2 foam dots, placed on the pull tab, with the die cut hill between them.
After that, I could assemble all of my pieces with some thin foam tape between the hills to ensure my pull tab slides easily. Finally, I printed a sheet of sentiments from the Theo penguin greetings pack and chose a couple that fit my card best. I put the "brrr!" Sentiment on my pull tab as an extra surprise when my trio comes sledding down the hill. I matted the "happy winter season" on some blue card and vellum to match the snowflakes in the background to finish up. This card works great for all winter holidays, no matter what your recipient celebrates! I hope you're inspired for the chilly upcoming season! Have creative day!

Samantha - I used this lovely Octavia Wistful digistamp - she's one of the older images in the store but I LOVE this range so much and they can be used all year round just by changing the colours. I forgot about our theme of no red or green but the colours suit this so perfectly I just went with the flow and got carried away. Hope you love it!

We are also introducing new Teamies today - we're thrilled to welcome Kel, Misty and Nat to the team! Welcome ladies!

So let's see what the Design Team have been making this week, which is all about HALLOWEEN...

Kel - Halloween is my absolute favorite holiday so I'm so excited for this week's challenge, all about the Halloween Icons! For today's card I'm using the digi Spooky Kitty Cat Pumpkin Boo Halloween because she's just too cute with her classic icons, the jack 'o lanterns/pumpkins and black cat. I colored her up with my Copics and added her to one of the super fun and colorful Gnome Trick or Treat Halloween Papers and finished it off with an equally fun sentiment from the Gnome Trick or Treat Sentiment set....lovies, =o) kel/Kelli Acopan...Visit me at http://blog.scrap-photograffs.com

Misty - Happy Tuesday, friends! I’m excited to announce that I’ve been invited to join the Polkadoodles Design Team! I’m very appreciative of this opportunity and excited to share with you my first project! In this project, I’ve created a fun and whimsical Halloween card. Y’all know that I had to go non-traditional for this one…it’s what I do! The fun gnome is on an action wobble and I love his little costume! I found a fun shape in my Silhouette library to add layers and finished it off with some glitter gel pen! Check out the video here: https://youtu.be/-nUXPNQP-mQ and thank you for joining me! Supplies used: Candy Boots Halloween Gnome, Halloween Trick or Treat printable papers bundle 2, Halloween Trick or Treat printable papers

Nat Martin - On this occasion I created three candy boxes and have coloured three Boo collection digi stamps ๐Ÿคฃ. I started with one of them and then I couldn’t stop coloring ….ha ha ha ….It was really addictive as they are wonderful designs and I fell in love with all of them ๐Ÿ˜

Maz - for my Halloween Icons tag, I used Sunflower Broomstick from the NEW Hocus Pocus Witches collection. I removed her broomstick and sat her on top of a trio of pumpkins from Ghastly Ghost collection. Coloured using ProMarkers. I created the background by using Terrifying Skulls Stencil. I finished off by adding a few cobwebs from the Spooky Hat Die Set and a distressed black bow. All details can be found on my blog.

Maritza: Hello my crafty friends for this Halloween Icons project, I made a card using digital stamps Belladonna Witch Halloween, I painted with colours pencils and digital papers, are Halloween Trick or Treat. I created background using distress ink. Happy crafting

Christin - Now it's almost halloween so today I have a witchy project for you! I coloured this wonderful Matilda Witch only in black and purble - I love this combination for halloween. What do you think about my Distress background? It's a little bit like she teleported on my card;)

Wendy J - This week I created a slimline card with a lovely dark and spooky inked background teamed up with the newest Halloween digi collections which have just been released! Check them out here!

Quillinglady.blogspot.com - Hi all amazing crafters, it's Monika with the first Halloween project this year. Today, I decided to create a super dimensional 'Floating Panel Card' that folds flat in the envelope. To embellish my card I used the best (in my opinion) witch digi stamp 'Ravella Witch Halloween' and I coloured the image using my alcohol markers. To decorate my card I used the design papers from 'Boo Halloween printable background digital bandle' and 'Halloween Trick or Treat' collections. If you are looking for the best Halloween sentiments check this collection 'Halloween Trick or Treat printable Greetings', you will find some totally incredible sentiments and I used one of them on my card. Have you started making your Halloween cards? Happy crafting! https://www.instagram.com/quillinglady/
