Challenge 7, week 3 - Anything Goes card making, craft, paper craft, scrapbook challenge

Vicky - G’Day Crafty Friends, Today I’m sharing a simple & easy card created with the ever so cute Shopping Rebel Girl Digi Stamp. Shopping Rebel is out & about shopping for summer dressed in her hot pink dress, lime bag & orange hair. The paper is from the Rebel Pretty Printable Craft Paper Patterns – Bundle 1, while the sentiment is from the Rebel Messages with Attitude. I love these sentiments! A little ink blending, fussy cutting & scoring completed the card perfectly.

Ana - Hi Crafty Friends! For this week’s Digi Choosday challenge, the Design Team was given the prompt “Hot Hot Hot” to celebrate summer. Summer here in Saudi Arabia can reach up to 50°C, so there’s really not much to celebrate. Haha! But I know summer in many parts of the world means sunshine, beach days, and lots of fun outdoor adventures. That inspired me to create these sparkly ocean-themed Artist Trading Cards (ATCs). For today’s project, I used Polkadoodles Winnie Mermaid Mermazing digi stamp together with sentiments from the Coral Mermaid. I colored Winnie using alcohol markers and added glitter details for sparkle. For the background, I created a mixed media look using shimmer sprays, stencils, and heat embossing for a pretty and sparkly background. Once everything was dry, I assembled the ATCs by adding the mermaid image and sentiment on top.
I always enjoy making mixed media projects that I ended up creating two ATCs using different color combinations and stencil patterns.
These may be small cards, but they’re full of texture, sparkle, and hot, summer mermaid fun!

Kim - Hey crafty friends! I'm back with a new Design Team project that has me totally dreaming of the beach. For this card, I decided to go all out with a fun 3D structure and created a centre panel step card and It's the perfect way to build up a layered, dimensional scene! At the heart of the card is the adorable Winnie Float Away from the Starfish and Sandcastles Digital collection. As well as some extra bits from the same set, the palm tree Plus the beach umbrella . I had so much fun colouring her up, adding some gorgeous gloss to her sunglasses, and setting her up with the ultimate beach day essentials. Not much in the way of decorative paper except for one single oh so cute piece with cherries on it from the Coffee Tea and Cake image.
To build the scene, I added: A pair of tropical palm trees and a bright, glittering sun.
A textured pink beach bag waiting on the shore. Shimmering, bright blue glitter card stock for the crashing waves. A colourful, oversized beach umbrella to keep Winnie cool. Lastly lots of Stickles glitter glue for lots of sparkle

I finished it all off with the perfect sentiment: Flip flops and umbrella drinks—because honestly, what else do you need for a perfect summer day? 

Nat - Hello Everyone, I can only dream of Summer here in Australia, saying that our winter isn't as cold as some places. I chose Soda Pop Boy to live out my summer dreams with. He's so cool. I coloured him with mostly Polychromo Pencils with a little raid for a brighter pink in my friends prismacolor. Recently I used the Christmas and Everyday Sentiment pack to make finding a sentiment easy and used Twisted Citron with a stencil to add interest to the background.
Polychromo Pencils Used:
Lime - Emerald Green 163, Leaf Green 112, Grass Green 166, Light Green 171 and Light Yellow Glaze 104
Orange - Pale Geranium Lake 121, Dark Cadmium Orange 115, Dark Chrome Yellow 109 and Dark Naples Ochre 184.
For Yellow I just used the last 2 in the orange combination.
Pink - Dark Red 225, Pink Charmine 127 and Prismacolor Neon Pink PC1038
