Vicky - Hello! I'm so happy to join the team! I’ve created a square easel card that measures 5 ¼” x 5 ¼” 13.3cm x 13.3cm. Easy Peasy! Cut a base card that measures 10 ½” x 5 ¼” / 26.6cm x 13.3cm, score in half & then score the front in half diagonally, from top right corner to bottom left corner. Cut another piece of the same Cardstock measuring 5 ¼” x 5 ¼” / 13.3cm x 13.3cm & adhere to bottom of scored line on front ensuring all sides are even. The digi image was printed direct onto Express It Cardstock as I’ve used Copics for colouring. The colours for the mermaid were taken from the paper used on the card front.

Natalie - Hi Everyone! For my card I used the Beach Scene digi image and teamed it with the Winnie Starfish/ Sandcastles - Building Sandcastles. The sentiment is from the Helga Hippos Quotes and Sentiments bundle. A simple Easel card made special with a scene...dreaming of the sun and warmth.

Nina - Today it’s Digi Choosday at Polkadoodles again, and this time everything is about an easel card with a By the Sea theme. For my card, I first die-cut all the different elements for the easel card. I then chose the beautiful digital paper from the set Winnie Starfish/Sandcastles Paper 2, because it fits this lovely seaside theme perfectly. To match the paper, I picked the fish from the set Winnie Starfish/Sandcastles Fish 2 as well as the whale from the set Winnie Starfish/Sandcastles.
I coloured the sea creatures to coordinate beautifully with the digital paper:
Fish 1: R81, RV34
Fish 2: BG10, BG13, G00
Whale: C4, C3, C2, C1
As a special highlight, I added the adorable mermaid from the set Lis Miss Mermaid. She is already pre-coloured and fits the card’s colour palette absolutely perfectly. To finish the card, I added the sentiment We Mermaid to be friends, which completes the easel card beautifully and gives this little underwater scene the perfect final touch. And just like that, you can create a magical underwater world in no time.

Kim - For my latest design team project I wanted to create a show-stopper. I chose the gorgeous Coral the Mermaid Sitting on a Rock https://www.polkadoodles.co.uk/coral-mermaid-princess-sitting-on-a-rock-printable-card-making-craft-digital-stamp-with-svg-outline/ and put her front and center on a dimensional easel card with an added pop up mechanism under Coral. I used Coral the Mermaid Sitting on a Rock digital stamp. Her tail details are my favorite part to color!
The easel structure makes her look like she's rising right out of the sea foam. I used a mix of textured blues and a scalloped sentiment as the stop to hold the card in place. I added some die cut shells, starfish and seaweed for added texture.

Ana - For this week’s Digi Choosday challenge, I created 2 cute double easel card following our DT prompt, seaside theme and easel card using the Polkadoodles Winnie Starfish/Sandcastles collection. I love how the papers already have a mixed media look, so vibrant and full of texture without the mess and cleaning up after! Hehe! This card may look detailed, but it’s actually very easy to put together, and the mini easel inside works as a stopper for the main card which made it a fun interactive element.
