Challenge 6, week 1 - Anything Goes card making, craft, paper craft, scrapbook challenge

This challenge is 4 weekly - giving you 4 weeks to enter with $45 in prizes per month. You can enter up to 4 times, with 4 different projects.

Renske - I created this slimline Father’s Day card using the adorable Lawn Mower Gnome For Mendigital stamp together with sentiments from the Gnome Men greetings. The image was coloured with alcohol markers in earthy greens, denim blues and warm browns to give the card a rustic gardening feel. For the background I combined crackle paste, ink splatters and a kraft colour palette to keep the design masculine while still playful. I also added layered sentiment panels, textured twine and hand-painted details for extra interest and movement across the slimline layout. I hope you like it. Hugs Renske

Wendy - Hello everyone wishing you a wonderful week. Today the team was asked to create a project with a wraparound - some people call them Belly Bands but that sounds like a diet to me LOL. Anyway I thought I would create a new to me card - it's a A6 sized Twist & Pop card with a wraparound closure. I was really surprised how easy it came together and there are loads of instructions on YouTube if you want to try one too. I used Buzzy Bees Papers and toppers from the Honey Bee Dreams and Buzzy Bee collections for the card as the bees here are going crazy with all the flowers bursting out everywhere. I used a yellow card to create the base card and the measurements are all on my blog if you want to take a look. To finish off my card I created a simple wraparound closure and die cut one of the bee toppers for the front, adding extra bees for dimension with clear sparkle on the wings and a few matching sequins and the Buzzy Bees Sentiments. Jane - Hello everyone. I have created an anniversary card today with a gate fold and a vellum wraparound. I used the Digi Deal Perfect Peony bundle with its beautiful pink florals and papers. I inserted all my elements into Word to manipulate the pre-coloured images where I created a bouquet for the front of the card and a rectangle frame for the inside. To add further interest to the inside I used the single peony image, cropped it, and then increased the transparency which gives a lovely watermark effect. For sentiments I used the Love Birds Greetings Bundle.




Judy - I've used one of the beautiful pre-colored digis from the Fantasy Moon Printable Download for this week's project. The image is printed on white cardstock, die cut into an oval shape and given a little shimmer with a clear sparkle pen and glitter gel pens. I punched a border on the front flap of the card and also on both edges of the belly band. The sentiment from the same download was printed on white cardstock and die cut before adding to the belly band.

Zel - Hello again! This week I made a wrap around fancy fold card in accordion style. Using the gorgeous Summer Breeze - digi scrap craft download, I Cut cardstock to 5-1/2 x 11. Score it at 4-1/4, 7 and 9-3/4. Fold on the score lines then cut to 4 x 5-1/4, 2-1/2 x 5-1/4 and two at 1 x 5-1/4. I then glued the paper pattern from Summer Breeze collection and add apple lagoon as a focal point.


Eve - Hello lovely crafty people! We were asked to make a wraparound card for this week’s challenge and here's what I came up with: I wanted to make my card look like a bunch of flowers wrapped in tissue paper, so I die cut lots of Pretty Starburst Flowers dies and Pretty Flower Flourish dies in various pink and white card. The white leaves are from the Christmas Cracker die set and the bow and hearts are from the Ribbon Tag Heart dies. My sentiment is from Spring Flower Mother’s Day Friends greetings which was mounted onto a labels die. When my hubby saw my card he said, "It's very pink!" Make of that what you will!! I hope that you like my PINK card and have a great week.

Kara - I used the hang in there little monkey digi stamp for a super cute father's day card. I used ohuhu markers to colour and background papers from the happy cactus collection.
Markers I used are- YG015, E59, E49, YR313

Paula - I made this bright wraparound card with a lady bug theme. The front has colored ladybugs attached to the band. When the band slides off the z-fold card the inside reveals a sweet ladybug girl and a message sending a hug to the recipient. I thought it was the perfect sentiment for the wraparound fun fold card. I am sure this card will be adored by the person who opens it! I used: Gardening Lily Ladybug Ladybird Cute digital stamp with SVG outlines, Lily Bug Ladybird digistamps, Lily Bug Ladybird papers 4, Lily Bug Ladybird messages

Ana - Hi everyone! For this week’s Digi Choosday wraparound Design Team prompt, I created a Triple Panel Card with a Belly Band using the gorgeous Polkadoodles Floral Meadow collection - and when I say gorgeous, I mean GORGEOUS!!! You can get the Floral Meadow collection here.
This collection is so nice to work with because really, it has - beautiful coordinating papers, florals, and sentiments that make putting together a project like this so easy and fun. This card has 4 panels but only with 3 panels you can write on. Plus. It has a wraparound belly band that keeps the card in place!
