So let's see what the Design Team have been making this week...we hope you're inspired!...
We are thrilled to welcome Julie to the team this week - we know you will love seeing her inspiration & we're excited to extend a huge welcome to this creative lady! Make sure you follow her on here blog and socials!Julie Barnes @the_stamping_heffalump - Here is a card I made for our May challenge with the theme Ocean. I used the gorgeous mermaid stamp Ula from the Ula Swishy Tail set PD7711 and stamped her onto some kraft card. I made up a round easel card and added some paper for the background from the paper pack Mermazing Ocean PD7952. I coloured her up with Prismacolour pencils using the following colours: PC1017 - PC1092 - PC939 - PC927 - PC928 - PC 948 - PC942 - PC1012 - PC914 - PC1072 - PC1070 - PC1068 - PC905 - PC992 - PC1104 - PC1001 - PC1033 - PC1014 - PC1018 &
PC948
I heat embossed the sentiment that comes as part of the stamp set, fussy cut it out and mounted it on some foam pads and then added to it to hold open the easel card. I then added some sparkle; cause mermaids have to have sparkle!
CHRISTIN B - Hello! Today I made an easel card in shape of an oval with this beautiful Coral Mermaid behind the rocks. I colored her with my alcohol markers and cut it out with an oval to put it on my card. The sentiment from the set Coral Mermaid quotes I made inside the card with dimensional pads for making the easel effect.
Huge thanks to the design team for all their inspiration today - we hope we've given you lots of ideas to use in your own cards - remember! We LOVE you to copy the ideas we show you, it's what we're here for!
