So let's see what the Design Team have been making this week...we asked them to bring some inspiration for Mother's Day - we hope you're inspired!...
KIM STEWART - Our theme this week 'Mother's Day' and in keeping with that I chose one of the Darling Buds Digital Images ( there are 9 in the set) for my card called Darling Bud Tulip Flower Girl Pretty easy on the paper selections this week as I only used one piece from the Wanda paper pack 3 . I coloured the Tulip Flower girl with my Copic markers and added glitter glue to the tulip flower petals on her head and the flowers she's holding for some added sparkle. And finally some die cut flowers to finish off my card. What are you working on this week? Something wonderful for that special *MOM* in your life? We'd love to see what you've been playing with? Betsy - Happy Spring everyone! To celebrate spring coming to my neck of the woods, I decided to use the Alcea Hollyhock Flowers for my project. I sized it and printed it out. I used Google Images for color inspiration. Copic colors used: Y00, Y00, Y11, Y21 Y02, R83, YG21, YG11, YG63, YG03, Y19. I fussy cut the image and prepared a white A2 size top folding card base. I used an embossing folder for another white panel that was trimmed 1/2" smaller. I used a sentiment from my stash and popped up the flowers and the sentiment on foam tape. Peachy yellow gems completed my card!
Martine Bruinings - Hello everyone, I am here with another card...this time for Mothers day. I used a Winnie image... Love you mum banner. As always, I colored with my distress inks. I also used a Polkadoodles digipaper.. Paper Heaven 4 , Horace & Boo . Also the text is from Polkadoodles , they have so many bundles...there is always some text you can use for ANY occasion ! I added some selfmade flowers and you have a perfect mothers day card...don't you agree?
Åsa -Hi crafty friends! This time we were asked to make a Mother´s Day card. Here in Sweden we celebrate our mothers the last Sunday in May. I lost my mother in cancer 1.5 years ago so cards like these are hard to do. The loss is so hard to bear. I've used Watercolour Flower Steam for my card. I coloured it with alcohol markers. The sentiment comes from Spring Flower Mothers Day Friends greetings sentiments.
Candace - For today's challenge project, the theme is Mother's Day and make/use anything. I used the image Bella Bear Daisy. Sentiment is from Mother's Day Messages and pattern papers are from Watercolor Flower Stem Printable. I also used Stitched and Pierced Circle Die Cuts.
Jane – To celebrate Mother’s Day I have made a diorama card featuring this sweet little fairy called WINNIE DAISY FAIRY TOADSTOOL who is sat outside her mum’s apple house. She and lots of other gorgeous Winnies are available in a fab bundle HERE and this is where you can also find the sentiment I used. I stamped around the frame using one of the super versatile STAMP SOUP SETS called IN A FRENZY.
