So let's get to today's inspiration...  We are delighted to welcome 4 new Design Team members this week - the fab and very talented Christin, DonnaWalls, Wendy and Marie - welcome ladies, we're thrilled to have you with us and to share your lovely work! Please follow their blogs/IG's along with the rest of the team too if you haven't already!


Christin - I proudly present my first card as part of the designteam of Polkadoodles for the digichooseday challenge. I used this cute hedgehog which I couloured with my alcohol markers. In the background you find the Paper Heaven 4 and a great sentiment of the Winnie Sunshine Delights sentiments. I hope you like it!

Wendy - Hello everyone, this is my first Polkadoodles Design Team post and I can't tell you how excited I am to be joining the team.  This week the DT were asked to make a card with the theme 'Just Because'. I've used the pre-coloured Cherry Chocolate Sundae Cupcake  image for my delicious cupcake card.  The image has been decoupaged and glossy accents added to the chocolate sauce. Who needs an excuse to have a delicious cake with friend after all.  I've used papers from the Winnie Sunshine Delights 6"X 6" Paper Pack 1   and some  Aged Rose frantage on the background panel to resemble the sprinkles on my cake.  More details are over on my blog.
Marie - I used this cute Winnie digital stamp to create this card. I wanted to keep it quite simple so just layered some pattern papers and added a die-cut in glitter card...

Donna Walls - Hello Crafty Friends!  I decided to create this colourful card with a patchwork of paper designs and bright colours using the Bunnita with Carrot cake digi stamp  from the Fuzzypuffs Collection.  I've colored the image with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers and created a sunburst pattern with the designer papers.  You can find the entire card recipe on my Blog HERE.


Roberta - Good morning friends! Here's another project with a guy in love. To make it I used the Flower bunch digital stamps that I printed and colored with Spectrum Noir Classique alcohol markers. I punched three shapes with the same tag: one black that I used as a background, one white and one with a card from the Helga Hippo Paper Heaven 1 collection, and punched out the hearts. Sentiment is part of the Helga Hippo Sentiments digital set.

Rose Andrew Hello friends - For this current challenge I am using Love Heart - Honeypie digital image with Winnie Sugar Sprinkles Paper Heaven 7 Printed and coloured the image with Copic Markers and created a Shaker card . Cut out the word "JUST BEACUSE" on my Cricut machine - keeping a very simple layout . 

Maritza: Hello... My crafty friends, today share a mini folder, I love these collection. I used digital image Winnie Belle of the Ball Fairytale, and digital papers are Love Always Papers 2. Embellishments are Helga Hippo Embellies download. This image I painted with colours pencils.

Sam - Hey hello crafty people!  Not sure if you have noticed that the DT had a theme of 'Just Because' for this one and I have used Helga Hippo Say Hi.  I have used two papers for this one ...one from the Helga Hippo Paper Heaven 1 and the other from Helga Hippo Paper Heaven 3. Happy Crafting!
Maz - For my project today, I used Ula, Be a Princess and coloured using Prismacolor pencils. I created the background using Leafy Forest Stencil. The little toadstools I cut out from Winnie Wonderland Paper Heaven 4. More details on my blog.

So let's get to today's challenge...

First of all - if you're a follower of our Polkadoodles challenge it's now moved to a Saturday!

Let's see what the team have made for us this week! They were asked to use an oval and Springtime critters - here's what they made...!

  Annette (Netty's Cards): I've used the adorably cute Love You This Much bunny image to create a cute card in Springtime colours. The sentiment is cut using my Silhouette machine and a fancy font, and the pretty papers are from Winnie Fruit Punch Paper Heaven set. The image has been watercoloured using Distress Ink Reinkers:  The background has been inked using a Heavenly Circles stencil.

Roberta  - Here I am with another nice project! To make it I used the digital stamps: Bella Bear Easter Bonnet that I printed and colored with Spectrum Noir Classique alcohol markers.
For the background, on the other hand, I used one of the papers from the Helga Hippo Paper collection.
Maz -  This 'Spring Animals' themed card, features a cute little bunny from Hoppy Birthday Stamp Set coloured using Prismacolor pencils. I used Great Outdoors Stencil to create the sky and grass background on my oval die cut shape. The background paper is from Spring Gnomes Printable Paper Pack. More details can be found on my blog
Myriam – Bunnies are for me typical spring animals. For this birthday card I have used the Love You Balloon bunny from the Love Always collection because I want to show you that you can use this collection not only for love or valentine cards. I have coloured the digital stamp with Prismacolour pencils. The text is from Helga Hippo Sentiments. Papers are from Honeypie Just Lovely. Their soft colours are perfect for spring themed cards!
Rose Hello friends, Today I have created a very simple Thank you card using digital image 
Love You Cart Loads - Love Always together with beautiful background digital image paper from Rose Budd collection printed the sentiment . Digital image is coloured with Copics ...
Francesca: Hello! For this challenge the theme is spring animals and there is a sketch: I chose the adorable Helga Hippo Fairy Princess available within Helga Hippo - Design Sheet 8 Duo DOWNLOAD and to create the sketch I added a little bow. The sentiment is available within Winnie Celebrations Kit 1 Sentiments.

So let's get to today's challenge...

Let's take a look at the Design Team inspiration this week which was all about 'ANIMALS'...

 Sam - For this DT challenge the theme was animals...I don't tend to use animals a lot on my cards therefore I thought I would go all out and use a cutie unicorn which I haven't used before.  I have used Surprise Sparkle Unicorn with some beautifully bright rainbow papers from the Winnie Celebrations Kit 3 Papers 1 pack and the sentiment from Winnie Celebrations 3 Sentiments 

Jane – I have a little Christmas scene for you today featuring the super sweet WADDY PENGUIN WITH CHRISTMAS TREE that can also be found in this fab bundle HERE. I have used the SNOWY and CHRISTMAS TREE stencils to create my background and added dies from the HAPPY FESTIVE SNOWMAN and  ICED WINTER SNOWFLAKE TREE sets (both of which are currently at a fabulous sale price so don’t miss out). The sentiment, from HEARTFELT TREE, was stamped and embossed in white.

Madison- Today's challenge was all about animals. So I thought I would use the cute Eli the Elephant. I have used the pre-coloured image this time and fussy cut it for this card. I have used the wonderful papers to matt the kraft card, and added some gems and ribbon. I thought it would be good to have a floating element strip along the bottom, so added some acetate and then popped Eli in amongst the beautiful Autumnal images. Finally, added a fitting sentiment.  

Candace - For today's challenge project, the theme is animals, anything with an animal and anything goes.  I used the image Well Hello Winnie (super cute hedgehogs!). The cloud paper is from Work & Play Collection 10 papers and the brick paper is from Rocket Car Little Dude. The sentiment is from Lily Bug Love Quotes.  I also used Tags Die to add a little to card.


LEE Animals Animals Animals! They make the holidays so much more fun and adorable! Coloring these little cuties from the Latte Christmas Tweetings stamp set to match the Gnome Season papers. And such perfect little touches with the Antique Gold Cording. And a touch of shimmer for some icy sparkle with Spectrum Noir Overlay! Join us and play along with your favorite animal images! We have so many darling ones at Polkadoodles!!


KIM STEWART - For today's challenge I'm using Sparkle Unicorn Ballet Dancing. I decided to put her on an Easel Style card to show her off. I used Decorative papers from the Winnie Celebrations 3 paper pack. There's so many choices in the Sparkle line to choose from. Why not have a go, and then show us what you created with her.
