So let's see what the Design Team have been making this week...

Ana - For this week’s Digi Choosday, I created festive Christmas Paper Rosettes using some of my favorite Polkadoodles products. I used the adorable Ice Skating Theo Penguin and Earmuffs Theo Penguin digi stamps, along with the gorgeous Pretty Poinsettia (my fave Polkadoodles Christmas digi!). For a fun sentiment, I fussy-cut FALALALALA from the Icy Winter Papers Set 2 Theo Penguin. These stamps and papers made it so easy to create cheerful, dimensional rosettes full of color and really cute Christmas fun! Jane Hi everyone. Today I have a fun card to share using this cheeky image from the GINGERBREAD HOLLY COLLECTION called HOT CHOCOLATE.

Kathie - Hi, it’s Kathie here, and I’m enjoying a gorgeous spring day in New Zealand. I love making Christmas cards with fun, non-traditional colours. They are something a bit different. For this one, I used the super cute DLPD9545 Santa image, with his sacks full of gifts. The digital papers I picked were DLPD9914 Set 1 Winter Theo Penguin and DLPD8408 Let’s Hang Out. Santa was coloured with a bunch of Copic markers: E00, BV00, BV02, BV04, C0, C1, C3, C5, C7, Black 100, YR03, YR23, BG10, BG15, BG23, BG49, plus black, white, silver, red, and purple gel pens. I added some sparkling white glitter for the fur on his coat for a bit of sparkle. The sentiment used was from Christmas Geeting’s DPLD9562 Festive Wishes from this house to yours.
When I was little girl, I always wondered why we received Christmas cards showed kids playing in the snow and beautiful Robins in winter scenes, especially since Christmas in New Zealand is usually all about sunshine, BBQs, and heading to the beach. At the age of 4 or 5 I didn’t realise the difference between the Northern and Southern hemispheres.
KM - Happy Digi ChoosDay, crafty friends! Today, I’m sharing a cozy Christmas card that’s a little different from the usual red and green — this one’s all about nontraditional color play! I used complementary orange and blue to create a fun, eye-catching contrast. My scene features the cutest penguins from the Theo Penguin Toasting Marshmallows digital stamp paired with a sentiment from the Theo Penguin Greetings collection. To add that magical winter sparkle, I used glitter texture paste for the snow and background. For a festive vibe, I added a few touches of glitter markers on their beanies and scarves. This challenge made me realize that stepping away from traditional colors opens up fresh creative possibilities.

Ana - Hi everyone, Ana here! This project started as a pair of Christmas tags, but they turned out so cute that I decided they could double as Christmas ornaments too! For the prompt non-traditional Christmas color, of course, I went with my favorite — pink! I used Polkadoodles Bella Bear Delivering Gifts, Bella Bear with Lots of Gifts, and Pretty Poinsettia. The base was painted pink, stenciled with Glitter Snow, and finished with lace, trims, and a touch of sparkle (with diamond adhesive!) for that sweet, pink, festive look. I love how soft and cheerful these tags turned out — perfect for gifting for special loved ones or hanging on the tree! Wendy - Hello everyone I don't know about you but I always seem to run out of time making my Christmas cards so here's one I've created for this season, that's quick and simple to recreate. I love the non traditional colours at Christmas especially the cooler tones so that was my palette for today. I created an alcohol ink background on vellum and then added electric blue foil while the ink was still tacky - it creates a fantastic look. I added more flake glue splatters and a bit more foil too - you can never have enough. The image and coloured sentiment are both from the Theo Penguin collection, the cute image is Big Hat Day, coloured with promarkers and fussy cut out. The sentiment, from the bundle, I thought would suit a simple Winter card for anyone that doesn't celebrate Christmas. Have a fantastic day, love and crafty hugs Wendy J. xx

Thanks so much to the team for their GORGEOUS inspiration this week!
