So let's see what the Design Team have been making this week... As 4th July is coming up soon in the USA, we wanted to give all our US friends some inspiration in plenty of time that you can make something patriotic maybe...

Kim S - For our design team project this week, our theme was 'Not a card' my favourite hahaha with July 4th/stars as the topic. I chose Sugarpops Little Miss USA, she's so cute I created two paper rosette's added some star shaped die cuts in glitter paper and some red white and blue ribbon which i attached to the paper straws i had bought previously and not got around to using. What have you been working on this week? We'd love to see? Do you celebrate July 4th or something similar to that holiday? Do you do anything special? For me it's Canada Day - Have a crafty week!

Ana - Hello! This starfish-shaped mixed media piece is a celebration of sea and sky! I started with plain white cardstock and layered on Distress Oxides in Tumbled Glass, Mermaid Lagoon, and Uncharted Mariner. I added texture with gesso and stenciled bubbles, then built it up with fussy cut elements from the Coral Mermaid printable papers, added ribbons and flowers for depth. Sequins, liquid pearls, and a beautiful sentiment from the same collection—Live in the sunshine, swim the sea, and drink the wild air—tie it all together. Ana - Stars, stripes, and sweet treats! I created this star-shaped treat box with my Cricut and gave it a fun, festive 4th of July twist using Honeypie, colored and all dressed up in red, white, and blue. A fun way to celebrate Independence Day with Polkadoodles charm! Instagram: @my.cat.and.crafts Facebook: My Cat and Crafts

Nina - Today I'm sharing a creative project inspired by American Independence Day – the 4th of July. This day commemorates the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776 and marks the beginning of an independent America. For my design, I used the "Miss USA 4July" digistamp set, combined with the matching digital papers from the "4 July Celebration" collection. The central motif is a girl holding the US flag – a symbol of freedom and pride. I created a star-shaped pendant in the colors of the USA, decorated with red and blue star-themed digital papers. The project is completed with die-cut banners featuring the words "Never forget" and "4th", reminding us of the historical significance of this day. A heartfelt, symbolic project to honor Independence Day through creativity.

KAYE - It's just fitting that for the fourth of July, we create confetti poppers to get in full celebration mode. Using materials like a tissue paper core and a balloon, we can make the confetti launch the popper just by pulling the balloon! To give highlight the popper and , of course to make it cute, I chose Lil Miss Sugarpops Flying the Flag, Then we colored her by holding the USA flag and her dress in Red, White and Blue. I used Noodle Panda plains printable digital paper to wrap and decorate the tissue paper core which also acts as a reinforcer for the main core and Voila it looks like something you can buy from the store! Martine - Although I don't live in the USA, I can still make a themed card for a friend for 4th July! I used this cute Wanda Fairy digi and a star shaped card, hope you like it!

WOW! There are some amazingly creative ideas here!

Thanks so much to the team for their GORGEOUS inspiration this week!
