So let's get to today's challenge...
Let's take a look at the Design Team inspiration this week which is all about GIVING THANKS..
Sam - I don't use pre-coloured images often... probably only on the days I want to craft but don't feel like colouring which is rare for me. Well I am having one of those days today! So I have decided to use the beautiful Honeypie Sweet Bouquet Flowers Dark Skin and Hair image today for my DT challenge of making a Thanksgiving/Thank you Card. I have used the Work & Play 12 Paper Heaven 3 bundle too. Happy Crafting
Jane – This sweet little girl is from the WINNIE WINTER CELEBRATIONS collection and is called (rather aptly) CELEBRATION. I added a ‘thank you’ to the balloons in Word and the flurry of snowflakes is from the SNOW GLOBE die set.
A little digital manipulation was used to create the inside too.
Candace - For today's challenge project, the theme is Thanks, Thanksgiving/Thank You and use anything. I used the image Nature Lover as the scene is very Fall-like. The Thank You sentiment is from In Remembrance Poppies and the digital pattern paper is from Winnie Fruit Punch Paper Heaven 1. I also used circle die to cut out digital stamp.
Madison- For todays challenge, the theme is Thanks. This is something we really do. People help us in so many ways and saying 'Thanks' is just such a lovely thing to say. I have used the Autumn Digi Stamps to cover an acetate panel on the front of my card, I love this technique as it gives the appearance that the leaves are just floating after falling off a tree. In the middle I have added the sentiment 'Thanks'. My insert that you can see is from the gorgeous Winnie Sugar Sprinkles Papers.
KIM STEWART...For today's DT project we were tasked with designing a Thanks themed project with an added theme of an insert. For my project I created a Slimline card and embellished the front of it with Serenity Fairy Resting which I matted onto a larger die cut colored tag to give her a pop of colour and show her off. I used digital paper from the Winnie Wonderland Paper Heaven 7 that I layered on the front of the card And for the inside i used digital paper from Winnie White Christmas paper pack 1. I put a sentiment inside on a pop up box from the Winnie Heroes set (that is FREE to download btw) . See how easy it is to intermix papers front different sets, and sets that aren't necessarily for the occasion you're designing for. I added sparkly jewels and glitter glue to Serenity's wings to finish off her look. Have a crafty week!
LEE - Hi everyone! It's the season to be thankful and that was our theme... and how thankful I am that it's Fall and such lovely chilly weather has come to my mountain! So I was thinking of some thank you cards I needed to make and liked the simple design of this with an easy insert to write a little message to someone! I used the adorable Tree Digital Stamp and colored with Copics. The little mushrooms are from the Autumn Fall Bundle and a simple Thankful sentiment. Also some fun fall looking designs using the Boo Halloween printable papers! A bit of the shiny Red Satin cord and some black dewdrops. Just a touch of sparkle with my Spectrum Noir pen! Hope you get some inspiration and create some thank yous along with us!
