Paula - I made a brightly colored A2 greeting card (4.25 x 5.5 inches) with the Smile Cactus as the focal point. It is colored with alcohol makers and has a touch of glitter and sequins added for sparkle. I used patterned paper from the Happy Cactus papers and the sentiment from the Cactus Succulent Sentiments set. I chose the sentiment to make the card nice for words of encouragement for someone that just could use a boost. The bright colors make me so happy and I hope the recipient loves them too!

Wendy - Hello everyone wishing you a wonderful week. Today the team was asked to create a card using a fun colour palette - it sort of reminds me of ice cream flavours, probably as the sun is shining and the weather makes me want ice cream LOL. I decided to create 2 really simple cards at once (why make one when you can make two !) so started off with a strip of card roughly 1 1/2 " in width and then adhered 1/2 " strips of coloured card to this to create a striped patterned, then cut this strip in half adhering each of these, on an angle to a panel of white card that I had already printed the sentiment onto. Next I chose the sweet Gift Parcel Noodle, resizing the image to suit an A6 landscape card and flipping the image so Noodle is facing opposite directions, before colouring with promarkers and cutting out on my ScanNCut. To finish off my clean and simple cards I added some fun clay swirls around the design, white gelly roll pen highlights and clear sparkle to the presents bows. Jane - Hello everyone. The team had a fab colour palette to play with this time, and I decided to make a birthday card for my sister-in-law. This lovely lady is called Birthday Cake Rebel. I wanted to add lots of coloured flowers but as they were not going to be too big, I didn’t want to print out individual paper sheets as that would be a waste. To remedy this, I added the different coloured designs from the Wanda Plain Janes paper pack into Word, resizing them just large enough to accommodate the dies I intended to use. I embossed a piece of pearl paper and fussy cut Rebel and adhered her with foam pads then arranged my flowers using 3D foam too.

Kathie - Good morning crafty friends from far and wide. Welcome to another Digi Choosday. This fortnight our team were working on projects with this wonderful colour combination of Yellow, Teal, Orange, Pink and Green. To me these are my happy colours. Today I used another wonderful Polkadoodles image Watering Can With Flowers Spring Garden. There is one black & white image for you to colour with whatever colour medium you use. I used my copics. It’s a great image and can be used for so many different genres. The design paper used was Paper Patterns 2- Winnie Daisy Fairy. The reason why I chose this set of my happy colours, was that it covered the colour combinations that we were using and it’s also very versatile for several crafting projects, cards, scrapbooking etc.
This image was coloured with the following Copic Chio markers: C1, YG03, YG63, Y8, YR04, YR07, RV02, RV04, BG10, BG13, BG15, BG49 and a white gel pen.

Zel - Creating this mixed media artist trading card is so much fun! For this challenge, I follow the color palette requirement for the background of my ATC. Before I add my colors, I trim watercolor paper to 2.5 x 3.5. For my backgrounds, I grabbed Timholtz stencil paste opaque and spread it on top of a postage stamp stencil. Once it is all dried up. I went ahead and used Lindy's Gang Magicals powder on top of each paper and wet it with water to activate the colors. To add texture to the background, I added script stamps and shape stamps. and adhere film strips. For my focal point, I scan and cut Flower rebel girl, Rebel girl cute girl, and milkshake drink rebel girl and adhere them on top of each ATC. For my sentiment. I just used my Motex label maker to cut the words chic, posh and glam.

Eve - Hi there and welcome to another Digi Choosday challenge. I decided to make another stepper card which I cut out on my scan and cut machine along with the beautiful Alcea Hollyhock flowers. I printed and cut out several images so that I could layer them up with foam pads. The background papers come with the image so they co-ordinate perfectly. The sentiment is from Spring flowers Mother’s Day friend’s greetings sentiments and I finished off my card with some dots, glitter, and a corner punch.

Judy - My inspiration card was created with Winnie Daisy Fairy Vintage Car. I printed, colored with Prismacolor pencils and fussy cut. The card base was die cut. I stenciled cloulds and added a strip of black card stock with hand drawn white lines to mimic a road.

Maz – I created this card following a colour palette using Distress Oxides in Picked Raspberry, Fertilised Amber, Mustard Seed, Cracked Pistachio, Broken China and Mowed Lawn. I cut the front off my card and made strips from it, to form an old shabby gate. I used Dahlia Flowers Dies for the main focus. The little pots, sign post and butterfly are from All the Dirt Stamp Set. I stencilled inside the card using Great Outdoors Stencil to create the clouds and grass. I attached and coloured Pretty Flowerpots and Planters Dies.

Ana - This week’s Digi Choosday project is a bit special because it’s my very first scrapbook layout using Polkadoodles! Plus, it’s for my mom! I’ve been working on a scrapbook for her, and this page is an addition featuring photos from our 2018 Singapore trip! This design is actually quite easy to recreate! I used my Cricut Maker to cut all the floral elements, but you can definitely achieve the same look using dies or even fussy cutting by hand. I love how this turned out - all the layered florals, colors and heartfelt memories. Check out my tutorial here:
