So let's see what the Design Team have been making...

Kim S - I am so excited to share my latest Design Team project for this week’s Digi Choosday challenge. If you love combining snowy scenes with romantic textures, this card is for you! For this project, I stepped away from the traditional rectangular card base and went with a stunning circular card. At the heart of the card is a sweet winter scene featuring Mabel bundled up in her finest red coat and scarf, sharing a moment with her snowman friend. I layered a red circular mat on the back of my card plus a circle mat I cut from glitter paper that I topped with a red/white striped decorative paper from Santa Claus paper pack 2 .I used a large, shimmering red glitter paper heart that I matted on white as a backdrop to add height and a pop of sparkly colour. I coloured Mabel and her snowman friend using my Copic markers in a red/white palette with a little pop of blue. My Copic markers were R27,R29,R37 and a smidgen of R39. I used the cool greys for the white parts.

Wendy - Hello everyone and Happy Digi Choosday ! February is already here and its definitely time to think about sending Love and Valentines Day. Do you send Valentines cards ? The theme set for the DT this week is Valentines using Red, Pink, Black and White so I thought the brand new Udderly Cute Collection would be prefect for this. It's a simple Pop Out Gatefold as I wanted to really show off the cute pattern papers and fabulous ephemera from the collection. The Just For Moo digital stamp was coloured with promarkers and popped onto the centre panel of the pop out so the recipient gets a surprise when they open the card. If you want the card measurements these are over on my blog. Have a great week ! love and crafty hugs Wendy x

Kathie - Good morning & welcome to Digi Choosday. It’s time for a new challenge once again. That’s right, Valentines day is just around the corner and it’s time to start making those wonderful cards for the special people/person in your life. This card is going to my great niece for Valentines. That’s why I chose this wonderful Polkadoodles image Flying Balloon Elephant DLPD9607 and the design papers used were Love Bird Valentines Wings of Love DLPD9096 Set 3. Our brief was for Valentines and we had to use Red, Pink and Black. Use an animal that moves. This wee Elephant is definitely moving through the sky. The image was coloured with the following Copic Chio markers: C1, C2, B000, RV02, RV06, RV10, R27,R29, R85. How am I going to make this Elephant move. I remembered, that I had purchased plastic spring things for the backs of cards to make your image move or wobble. I didn’t think it would work to start off with but YES it did, next time I would double the thickness of the image cut two circles as I feel that my card is a little flimsy. Happy crafting everyone. You can find my complete instructions on my blog.

Zel - Hi everyone! For this Challenge, I chose Helga Hippo for my digi which I print to 4x6 watercolor paper. Here's how I incorporated Pink, black and red - use an animal challenge them for my project:
For my Pink - I use pink water color to color Helga's Ribbon , Flower and Dress
For My Black - I used black soot distress oxide and ink up Tim Holtz Cling Stamps - Spills and Splatters and stamp it to the water color paper. I made sure to do some masking technique to cover Helga when I stamped. For my Red - I did the same technique when I used my black ink but this time, I stamped the image to distress oxide Festive Berries. I also used red Albertch Durer water color pencil for her eye shadow. For something that moves, I printed out the words My Love sentiment from Love Always printable Sentiments and stick on an action wobble spring to make my sentiment move.

Judy: My inspiration project for this week is a Valentine's card created with the Hearts & Flowers - Utterly Cute Digital Stamp. I printed this cutie with Prismacolor pencils and fussy cut. He was added to a background of 2 patterned papers from Utterly Cute Paper Pack 5 and Utterly Cute Paper Pack 3. I added Utterly Cute Printable Ephemera. The sentiment from the Utterly Cute Printable Greetings It was printed onto one of the ephemera pieces.

ANA - For this week’s Digi Choosday project, I created a cute peekaboo interactive card, something I haven’t done in years, featuring a cute Polkadoodles character, Scruff Dog with Heart Cookies. I love how interactive cards always add an extra element of surprise, and this cute and sweet pup was perfect for a design that reveals as you pull the card.I used patterned papers from the Polkadoodles 2 Love and Kisses Papers Collection to keep the card bright and on theme, while sticking to a white and pink palette for this week’s DT prompt. For the sentiment, I chose “Love you always” from the Wings of Love Greetings set. To tie everything together, I paired it with a heart cookie design, which complements Scruff Dog (with heart cookies) perfectly and adds cuteness and sweetness to the card.Hope you like this card and that you will join us weekly here at Digi Choosday! Jane Hi everyone! For a sweet Valentine’s card look no further than the brand new UDDERLY CUTE COLLECTION. In fact, these gorgeous cow images are just perfect for nearly every occasion. For my circular card I began in Word then inserted one of the designer papers and placed the image TOGETHER on top. Adding a shadow behind the image lifts it off the page to give the illusion of dimension without the need for fussy cutting. Once I had printed off my design, I coloured with Copics, cut it out with a circular die and added a couple of hearts from the EPHEMERA BUNDLE and a sentiment from the PRINTABLE GREETINGS.

Thanks so much to the team for their GORGEOUS inspiration this week!
