Let's take a look at the Design Team inspiration this week which is all about CHRISTMAS WINDOWS..
We are delighted to welcome Marina to the Design Team! We look forward to sharing her fabulous projects with you all - please go and follow all the team blogs, we have some fabulously talented crafters on the team who are full of inspiration for you!
Candace - For today's challenge project, the theme is Christmas, use any products and make a window. I used the image Advent Calendar as the main focus of my card. The characters popping out of windows are too cute!! I made an easel base card using papers from Winnie Christmas Wishes Paper and the sentiment I popped up for the easel is from Winnie White Christmas Sentiments.
Jane – Today I am using the fabulous ELVIS WESLEY on my slimline card and this digi is called SUGAR HIT. I created a shaker window and added a ‘basket’ made from the WOODLAND DOOR die set. The paper and sentiment are all from the ELVIS WESLEY BIG KAHUNA BUNDLE.
Sam - For my DT challenge with a window...well I made lots of windows in my Christmas Village scene for the little lights to shine out of. I used the image Buying the Tree from the Winnie White Christmas Range and a the paper for the trees from Winnie Winterland Paper Heaven 4. Happy Christmas Crafting.
KIM STEWART - Are you a create Christmas cards all year kinda person, or scramble at the last minute person? I cut a round circle in the front of my card, layered coloured red cardstock as well as some decorative paper from the Winnie White Christmas paper bundle 1, I picked a digi from the Winnie White Christmas collection, called Christmas Shopping , matted her onto some red cardstock and placed her inside the card so she shows through the round window i cut to show her off. I used a few pieces that i fussy cut from the Winnie White Christmas Design sheet 8 which i used on the front of the card. As well as some red and pink mulberry flowers to finish off the card design. I glittered the trim and pom pom on Winnie's hat with Diamond Glitter and used glitter glue on the presents.
Parmi - I created the card using a die from my stash to make the window design on the front which I added to a card base along with the “Winne Christmas Wishes Digi Paper 2” to create the look of wall paper complete with skirting. Through the window you can see Winne playing the the snowman which was created using the “Winnie Winter Frozen Digi stamp” which I coloured with alcohol markers and added the image to the inside of the card with a simple Merry Christmas sentiment. The Winnie Winter frozen images were adapted to remove the “happy birthday” and added “for you” on the card that Winnie holds.
LINH – For this week’s challenge, I cut a window right into the front of my card so you can peek straight through to the inside. When you open the card, you see this framed Cosy Christmas scene with Winnie by the fireplace and her house fully decorated for the holidays. I used my Prismacolor pencils to color this sweet image so I could get into all the beautiful details of this digi stamp. Check out how I made this card in my YT process video.
Marina - It is that time of year when every child sends ONE letter to our beloved Santa Claus! For this project I used my markers to color the Hollybobs Cards digital stamp and then cut out the design. I used an A4 green paper for the base of my card and folded it in half. I used the Baked With Love - Paper Heaven 2 design paper with the green trees as a background, the "Christmas" sentiment from Baked With Love - Sentiments, a window and my lovely red girl with the LETTER for Santa Claus, standing on the snow.
