So let’s see what the design team have made for us...

Out of the box technique tutorial by Lynda....
You will need:  Digi Image, Pencil, Scissors, Die cutting Shape
Die cutting Machine, such as a Bigshot or Grand Calibur....
1) Choose an image (I used the beautiful Lily from the Lily Lady bug collection. You can find her  here.  2) Place your metal die shape over the image. 3) Using a pencil mark inside the die  (I used a circle) above and below the area(s) you want to leave outside of the die shape. It should look like this.....
TIP!! If you also mark right the way round the outside of the die shape you can use this as a guideline when your replacing the die to put through the machine later.
4)Take a pair of scissors and from the edge of your paper or card cut  just over the line you drew

5) Put the die
shape back over the image, leaving the bit your don't want cutting over the die.
6) Run through a die cutting machine.

Hope you enjoyed my first ever tutorial. Don't forget this collection is available on a CD or as a instant download.

Anjie - Everything on my make is from the Sticks and Stones collection. I have coloured them image with my pens and simply matted and layered some of the papers and added faux stitching around the edges. I then added a few embellies and thought it looked good as it was so I decided to leave it at that. Quite CAS for me for a change lately.
Julie -- Animals & Insects!  This sounds like the perfect time for the new Lily Bug Love collection! I colored Lily Bug Love Heart Balloon with Copic markers.  The sentiment and backing papers are all part of the Lily Bug Love full collection, available in CD or digital download.   I love this new collection!
Monica-For this week make, I chose a lovely dinosaur couple from Sticks & Bones collection. Using the colorful volcano, I made a volcano shaped gift box. The volcano, the palm trees, the heart shaped rock, the sentiment and, of course, the lovely dinos, all are included in this adorable collection.
Fiona - For this weeks make I have used different collections for my  mdf bird house.  I have used a image called I have used Lil Bug Love Heart Balloon digi stamp The birds are from  Candy Doodles Collection Edition  the backing sheet is from Sugar Plum Daisy
Jane – Hello! I just adore Nikky’s new STICKS AND BONES COLLECTION there are so many gorgeous goodies in it, and this has to be one of my favourite images called FEROCIOUS FRIENDS. Isn’t that sabretooth tiger just AWESOME!!! I coloured with pencils and gave the card a whole ‘ripped up’ look!! Well just check out those claws!! J  Have a happy crafty day! xxx
Aunty Sue - Hi well with all Nikkys fabulous new releases which to use for this challenge. Sorry I just love our Lily Bug and just had to go there again this week. I have used a Digi image printed twice available here , along with some of the fabulous paper available Here. I printed the lady bug out twice so I could lay one on top with the wings lifted off the page. There are always so many gems hidden in Nikkys collections. The Valentine and Hi is also in this collection part of the element available here. You purchase the whole collection either as a download or a cd here in the shop.
Gail - Animals & Insects, it had to be Lily Bug!! Loving this new collection from Nikky, cute but not too sickly sweet, does that make sense?? The Lily Bug Love collection is available on CD-Rom or for the less patience crafter the instant download is also available.

Audrey chose to use Hats Off Twiggy and Toots image, which you can find in the Twiggy and Toots Owl Download Collection.  I also used one of the tunnel card templates from Twiggy and Toots Owl Download Collection - it comes with all the panels, papers and embellies needed to make this card.  I colored the image, cut out with scissors and put it on the front of the card.  Sentiment can be found in Twiggy and Toots Owl Download Collection as well.  Sure hope you like it!

Helen - I've used elements from the new 'Lily Bug' collection and have tried combining some of them digitally for a change.  I've merged a pre-coloured digi with one of the frames, added a sentiment and also two of the flowers.  Then I've added two of the papers and some black paper and gems to finish my card.  The collection is available here as a CD and here as a download.
Tanya For this week's challenge I've used the sabre tooth tiger from the Sticks and Bones collection which you can get in the full collection available on CD and download or on its own in the black and white version to colour yourself.  Using Graph It Markers to colour it and then using the sentiments and flowers and frame and papers from the collection too.  Finished off with some satin wire edged animal print ribbon.
