Now onto the first challenge from us here at Digi Choosday this year.....

CAS (Clean & Simple)

As most people will be tidying up after the Christmas and New Year festivities we thought we would start the year nice and clean too, so we want to see your clean and simple makes.

You can make anything you like maybe a card, a scrapbook layout of even home décor. 

You can use any products you like to enter as long as it follows the theme for this week. We don’t have many rules but check them out in the side bar if you need to. 

We give you two weeks to enter so that means the

CLOSING DATE IS 19^th January 2016 

and the winners will be announced on 26^th January 2016.

Lynda: I find CAS cards quite hard to make but really enjoyed making this one. I used the lovely  Work & Play 8: Feel The Music which is available on a CD or as a digital download. I paper pieced his T'shirt and added gems to the music notes to finish off the card. Have Fun xx 

Jane – Hello! Happy New Year everyone! Hope you had a fabulous Christmas!
 My CAS card is ‘shaken not stirred’ using this awesome image from Nikky called SPY/JAMES BOND.  He comes with his own sentiment but as this is a birthday card I have used an appropriate one from WORK AND PLAY 3.  Have a happy crafty day! xxx

Audrey prefers to call this type of card Clean and Classy because in my opinion, there's nothing simple about them! LOL  I chose Opera Singer Girl image download for my creation, she is also part of the Work and Play Volume 8 Feel the Music Bonus Full Collection.  My sentiment can also be found in the Work and Play Volume 8 Feel the Music Bonus Full Collection.  I changed the color of it using Gimp - first colored it to transparency and then changed the background color to match the paper I chose.  This beautiful snowflake paper is from Frosted Winter Octavia Digital Download.  Sure hope you like it:)

Helen - I love making clean and simple cards and for this one I decided to work with one of the designs from the Adult Colouring Pages 1 Bundle which is available to download here on the Polkadoodles website.  I simply printed the design on to card, coloured it with alcohol pens and then layered it on to black and white card finishing with some black gems.

Anjie - I have used a pre-coloured image and a sentiment from the adorable Rose Budd Download collection. You can also buy this on a CD HERE if you wish. And you can buy the very handsome Mr Jeremiah as a clear stamp HERE. More details on my blog.

Fiona - Here is my CAS card for this weeks challenge, I am not keen on doing them either.  For my card I have used a image from the Work and Play 9 Love and Kisses the image is called Cupid.  You can either by the single image at the polka doodles site. Or you can download the entire collection download.

Monica.- CAS cards are not my thing, but we are here to take challenges :o) ...The adorable digi I`m using is from Nikky Digital Stamp Download and the gorgeous sentiment is from Eden Download Collection.

Julie -- It looks like Monica and I are thinking alike this week :) I also used the Nikky Digital  Stamp download.  It comes with the stamp and six(!) designer papers!  Isn't Nikky just so cute?!?  I colored her with Copic markers, and inked the edges of both papers.  The ticket is from the Work & Play 9 Collection, available both in CD and Digital  Craft Download.

Tanya - Happy New Year everybody.  Like some of my fellow team mates I struggle with the Clean and Simple card challenges but I've cracked it this time I think!  I've used the Eden Collection available as a DOWNLOAD and a CD and merged it with the Rose Budd Collection available as a DOWNLOAD and CD here and just by using a little bit of glitter and some glossy accents I've made a clean and simple card. Voila!!

Aunty Sue - Wow 2016 hope you enjoyed the holidays. Well for my CAS card I have used yes one of my Favorite images Oddella Heart available as a download HERE and my paper are from Sugar Birdies CD available HERE.. I went with some bright colours to cheer us up in the cold and wet days we are having. The sentiment is from our Work & Play 9 Love and Kisses which is available as a download here. A perfect download for the up and coming Valentines season. 

Gail - Happy New Year everyone, hope you all had a wonderful Xmas and wishing you all the very best for 2016. Onto the first challenge of 2016, I went for a little notelet collection using the very beautiful Eden collection. The Eden collection is available on CD-Rom or as a Digital Download.
