So lets see what our Design Team have made this week...

This week the team were challenged to:

1. Use the theme: Holidays

2. Use: Any image which includes a camera, sunglasses or anything beachy. Use something UPCYCLED/RECYCLED from the kitchen trash!

3. Make: A card which is not square

We think they nailed the challenge!....

Sue ~ I'd like to share this cute summertime card I made after recycling the cardboard from some sneaker socks I recently bought. I have used Winnie- Hooray from Winnie Celebrations-1 and paper from winnie-celebrations-1-papers-1 along with other sentiments found in store but full details on my blog.

Katrina It's Flip Flop Time! I go straight from Muck Boots to Flip Flops here. I have combined the Flip Flop and sentiment from Winnie Starfish & Sandcastles with beads and a sand dollar to make this card! There is a surprise recycle item inside this card! Come visit me and see what it is! Oh, and there's a video, too!

Cindy Summer is the perfect season to make pictures. For this card I have used a digi from the Stick and Bones Collection - photo / camera / selfie and a pre-colored image from the stick and bones dinosaures colored images The digital paper is form the Work and play collection. I have recycled a box of which I have peeled of the topcoat to get ribbed millboard. More details you can find on my blog.

Rose~Summer is a wonderful time of the year to enjoy beach. For this challenge I am using a recycled cereal box to to create a circle card. I am using Summer Breeze digital papers with digital image Vacation Winnie Special Moments which I have colored with copic markers.

Jane P - Welcome back to Digi Choosday......the design team had a challenge this week and I decided to alter a peanut can from the kitchen garbage.....I use them with loose change in the can to scare my cats when they go after the stray we took in....and I couldn't think of any better collection to use than the VIP Edition of Starfish and Sandcastles

Andrea - I used the fabulous Winnie image (pre coloured )from the Winnie Starfish/Sandcastles dowload kit (Polkadoodles ) wich I embellished with glitter to the palm trees and also added a light blue outline to the image.The sentiment came from that set as well.I added a hand drawn striped black and white border and sunshine,the recycled element of the challenge came from recycled packaging from an Amazon delivery and I added black gingham ribbon to tie it all together.

Great work from the team as always!

So lets see what our Design Team have made this week...

Mary G...I used a digi image Flying a Kite from Polkadoodles Winnie Special Moments Collection which I coloured with Copic markers. The digital background papers are from the same collection. For extra interest, I added doodling to my paper pieces, a faux hessian and saddlestitch faux bow topped with a red polka dot ribbon tied with hemp twine. The bag was finished off with silver star trim

Maria: For this project I used Let's Fly a Kite a pre-colored stamp. The card collection I used to create the card is part of the Winnie Special Moments Kit - Big Kahuna, the sentiment I used and Winnie Celebrations 1.

Jane S - For this challenge I have made a little party hat featuring the super cute digi Scruff the Dog Cupcake and and the die set Perfect Parcels. The paper is from Work & Play 6 and the sentiment can be found in the Party Little Dude download.

Julie Reed - For this challenge I completely forgot the birthday element when I was designing! But I did make a new book mark for my Son, who is always losing his. I used an image from Winnie Starfish and Sandcastles and coloured in an underwater background using my Copics, finishing with some fish stamps from my stash.

Julie T - For this project I used Toad-ally Cute Little Dude. The papers are from Just Hanging Little Dude and Sticks and Stones. The Sentiment is from Winnie Celebrations 3

Željka -Hello!!! For this week challenge I used super cute Nuts About You image from Too Cute collection and add it my tag.The paper I used for gift packet are from Work & Play 12 Paper Heaven 1 bundle kit - Coffee/cake

Jennifer - Today I've created a little birthday treat box featuring the adorable Boo from Horace and Boo. This image is called Party Friends, I've cropped it down to fit on a small oval so it would work with these triangle box dimensions. The backing paper I used for the box itself is a digi paper from the Rugby/Football Little Dude pack, I printed it onto cardstock so I could use it with my box template.

Great work from the team as always!

Katrina~ I decided to combine 4 different images with a sentiment from Polkadoodles Too Cute. My goal was to put it into a comic strip setting with the animals sort of 'escaping' the setting! This was so fun, I can't wait to try this again with some different images!

Rose -hello friends in blogland, for this fun challenge I have created a Z-Fold card using the Work & Play 10 Country Life . All my designer papers and images are from the same pack .

Jane P - hello Polkadoodles and Digi Choosday fans....this weeks creation is using Horace and Boo Download Kahuna and Winnie Sugar Sprinkles Springtime download. The background is from Horace and Boo.....

Cindy - Today I went totally out of my comfortzone trying to make a card in mixed mediastyle. I have used the digi drummer girl and guitar boy. For the background I have used distress oxide spray, archival inkt and several mixed media stamps.

Let's see what the design team have made for us this week... they were challenged to create projects which were 'INSIDE OUTSIDE'.... whatever they made had to be as important on the inside as it was on the outside - and wow!! they came up with some GREAT ideas and inspiration for you!

Mary G...For this card I used the lovely Helga Hippo with her gorgeous summer hat. I downloaded and printed out the image, then I coloured it with Copic markers. I die cut the image and matted it onto various diecut shapes then added some summer daisy shaped flowers which I stamped and diecut from Polkadoodles digital paper from the Starfish/Sandcastles collection and added a sparkly gem in the centres plus some diecut white leaves.

Julie Reed - This week I have decorated both the inside and outside of my card, I have used Octavia Whistful and cropped her using a circle die and created an aperture, so you can see her. The paper inside my card is from the Helga Hippo download collection. My image has been coloured with Copics.

Maria: For this challenge I used Serenity Fairy Kisses colored with copics. The card collection I used to create the card is part of a Helga Hippo Paper Heaven 3 Kit, the sentiment I used Winnie Sugar Sprinkles Word Art Bundle...

Jane S - One thing guaranteed to bring a little sunshine into my life is colour...and lots of it. So this week I have used watercolours, Copics and bottled alcohol inks to add a rainbow to my card. The image is the stunning Meribelle Swishy Tail and I cropped the image to place her inside but also added a smaller aperture in the front so you can see her peeping through. The gorgeous stamps are from the Best of Days Set and the sentiment comes from the Ula's Life Collection.

Julie T; For my card I used Winston Bear Gone Fishing. I used the entire image on the inside of the card but cut out just Winston for the front of the card. All the papers are from the Winnie Starfish/Sand Castles 9 pack.

Jennifer - For my inside out card today, I've created a merged scene using the Dandelion Days image, along with the Dandelions design sheet, both from Winnie Fruit Punch. The flowers on the front are from a Helga Hippo design sheet. To show Winnie's face peeking through to the front of the card, I've cut the panel using the Versatile Door/Window die set (also available from LDRS Creative). My sentiment on the front is from the Helga Hippo bundle.
