So let's see what the Design Team have been making this week...the team were asked to create a 'Hot Chocolate/Cocoa' theme...

Megan - The assignment for this challenge was Hot Chocolate, I decided to create a single layer card with the Door wreath Bella Christmas bear digi. I love how she is sitting on the stoop holding a cup of Hot Chocolate. I colored the image with Copic markers and I added a white snowy detail on the outside edge of the door frame with a gel pen. The area I live in doesn't get much snow and the week I created this card we were expecting two inches, so in homage to that I used the It looks like snow sentiment from this Sentiments bundle.
Copic Colors used:
Door: R24, R27,R46, W9,Y18, Y12
Hat: B24, B28, B29
Bella: E34, E35, E37
Berries and Leaves: YG95, YG97, YG17, YR12, YR04, R08. YR14
My Instagram link: Megan Cooper ,Facebook: Lazy Daze Stampin'

Jenny - Sometimes you just need a little hot cocoa kiss to warm you up! This card comes together very easily when you have the Elvis Wesley Moose-VIP XXL Edition because you have access to so many items--the stamp, ephemera, paper, sentiments, etc. One of the reasons I love digital stamps is because you can edit them--this image had a hat next to the Moose that I did not want, so I removed it. I am so in love with the Hot Chocolate Time Elvis Wesley Moose, I wish I could have some hot cocoa with him. Follow me on Instagram and Facebook @CraftingwithJenny

Kim S - Happy Digi Choosday, We're in the middle of our winter here in Canada, so a thermos or two of Hot Chocolate is required with the temperatures we see. Which in a typical winter can get as cold as -35C. For our Design Team challenge this week I chose one of the ever so adorable Bella Christmas images that can certainly be used for other winter occasions I love colouring Bella up as a polar bear too. I added a tree from the ephemera pack that goes with the Bella Bear Christmas set. My one piece of decorative paper comes from Bella Christmas Bear digital paper pack 2 . The sentiment I used is from the new release called Gingerbread Cookie Snow Day . Lots of sparkle to finish off my winter card.

Betsy - Hello all! This Hello Frosty Snowman stamp set is perfect for letting that great friend know how you really feel! My card was quite easy to make! To start I composed my image in the computer without the sentiment and Die cut it. I also made up a sentiment and printed it onto a leftover piece of the purple cardstock. I die cut another panel a bit bigger from the patterned paper that my color palette comes from. I covered an A2 size white side folding card base with a pale cool gray which I adhered over the gray card base. I ink blended my printed panel, chose my marker colors and when I finished coloring I adhered it with foam tape to the card panel. I used Iridescent Contour Paste and made snow under the snowman's feet, a little on the bird, the white stripes on the scarf, the nose and the sentiment and then as little snowflakes all over!
Copic Colors used: BV0000, BV000, BV00, BV02, BV13,V000, V01, V04, V06, YR00, YR02, YR04, E43, E25, C1, C3, C5, C7, 100
Til next time...
Betsy

Candace - For today's challenge project, the theme is Hot Chocolate. I made a hot chocolate packet and used pattern paper from Winnie Daisy Fairy. I used the image Bella Bear Morning Coffee but let's make it a hot chocolate! The sentiment is from Coffee, Tea and Cake Greetings.

Jane – My ‘hot chocolate’ inspired card today features PICKLES HEDGEHOG SITTING and I have place him behind a huge mug of that frothy and yummy beverage using the CUP OF KINDNESS die set. The paper is from the CELEBRATIONS paper pad and I stamped a greeting on the cup from the DO SMALL THINGS clear stamps set. The sentiment is from the GINGERBREAD COOKIE GREETINGS BUNDLE.

Thanks so much to the team for their stunning inspiration this week!

So let's see what the Design Team have been making this week...

Leah - Hello friends! It's DigiChoosday today and I am sharing a Valentine's Day card featuring the Bunny Rabbit with Bunch of Flowers digital stamp set from Polkadoodles. I have paired this with digital paper from Bella Bear Morning Coffee and a digital sentiment from the 3 Little Bunny Rabbits set.

Wendy - Hello everyone I hope you are all having a lovely week. My Valentines card today features a cute bunny from the Love Always collection - this is Love you this much and I think he's just adorable and looks so cool with his trendy sunglasses. I've coloured him with my promarkers and then used Polychromos pencils to add lots of texture to his fur. The team was also challenged to add some paper weaving to out project - not something I've done for many years but it was fun, I've used striped paper from the Lily Bug collection, simply cut into 1/4" strips. The perfect sentiment is from the Love Always collection. Have a wonderful week - love and crafty hugs Wendy xx

Christin - For my new card I used two digipapers from the rebel pretty paper 3 for making a weaving heart for the background. In front of it I put the Butterfly fairy Winnie Daisy and supplement with the texts from the Spring tons of love bundle.

Kerri - Hi everyone! I'm Sharing this card I created using the Digital Stamp called TOGETHER ALWAYS. The pattern Paper you see is from the collection BAKED WITH LOVE PAPER HEAVEN. Image and paper was printed onto White card stock. Bunnies were colored with Prisma Pencils.

Thanks so much to the team for their stunning inspiration this week!

So let's see what the Design Team have been making this week...we hope you're inspired by all these great ideas with a Pancake theme...

For those of you outside the UK, Pancake Day ( also known as Shrove Tuesday) is the last day before the period which Christians call Lent and is usually the middle Tuesday in February.
It is tradition on this day to eat pancakes.
The name Shrove comes from the old word "shrive" which means to confess. On Shrove Tuesday, in the Middle Ages, people used to confess their sins so that they were forgiven before the season of Lent began. Shrove Tuesday is a day of celebration as well as penitence, because it's the last day before Lent. Throughout the UK, and in other countries too, people indulge themselves on foods that traditionally aren't allowed during Lent. Pancakes are eaten on this day because they contain fat, butter and eggs which were forbidden during Lent. History lesson over! It's a lot of fun!

Megan - I had some fun with the assignment of Pancake day, not a card. I did something I don't normally do and colored SVG Cut files. I made a fun spiral notebook with lined paper to feature the images. I used the pre-colored images from Baked with Love and Pancakes Lemon Food for the background images. I added shading with Copic markers to the stars, stack of pancakes and the word sweet, by doing this it cut my coloring time in half. The girl from Pancake and Waffle time is an SVG file I cut in white cardstock and colored with Copic markers. I added all the images on a base layer of papers from Paper Patterns-2 Winnie Daisy Fairy. The project turned out light and fun and I love it.
Copic Colors Used:
Girl Skink Tone: E000, E00, E21, E30, R20, R30
Girl Hair: E13, E17, E21
Dress, Shoes, Flowers, Sweet: RV25, RV23, RV32, Y18, Y15
Pancake, Stars: E11, E97,E99, YR12, YR14, YR21, YR14, YR18, YR04
Water Pitcher, Blueberries and Heart: B00, B02, B63, B29

Kim S - Happy Pancake Day! This adorable fox is ready for a stack (or two!) of pancakes. A perfect card for spreading some cheer on this delicious holiday. My paper selections come from Theo Penguin ll papers 1, papers 2, and Winnie Daisy Fairy 2  collections. It's all about Clean and Simple for me today. I chose Freddy the Fox as the centre attraction for this Pankcake Day card I created. I coloured in pastel's(no surprise there) which really pop against the reddish brown fur colour. What are you working on at the start of this new year? Anything fun or exciting? We'd love to see!

BetsyHello everyone! With winter well under way I wanted to make a snowman card that embraced pink! I composed and printed out my image which is the Snowmen Frosty Hug digital stamp set. I colored the elements with Copic markers, then fussy cut the images and then went around the edges with a black marker. I cut my background paper to fit an A2 size card and used a 3D embossing folder to give the card more texture. I added glitter glue to the pom poms and band on the hat. I mounted the 2 little birds on a die cut piece of white glitter card stock. Using the same glitter card stock, I die cut a border and adhered it to the base of the snowmen. I adhered those images down flat and then added tiny iridescent gems around the embossed hearts!
Copic colors used: YR15, YR04, YR07, YR00, R81, R83, R85, R37, B0000, B000, B00, B02, W2, W3, W5, C1, C3, C5, C7
Til next time...Betsy IG: @betsybirgeart/ Blog: https://caringheartcards.blogspot.com/

Jenny - I am gifting the neighbors with a pancake basket and needed a tag to go along with it so I created one using the Polkadoodles digital Pancake Time adorable girl and the perfect sentiment from the Polkadoodles Pancakes and Waffles greeting bundle.
I colored the image using Copic markers: E29, E53, E00, E21, E000, E25, E35, B24, B12, B28, B26, C0, C3, Y11, Y06, R22, RV10

Jane – Happy New Year everyone, it will be Pancake Day before you know it LOL and that is the team’s theme for today. So I have decorated a gift bag using a B/W image and pre-coloured ephemera from the PANCAKES & WAFFLES download bundle. The paper is from the CELEBRATIONS paper pack.

Candace - For today's challenge project, the theme is Pancake Day! I used the image Flipping Pancakes, the sentiment from Pancakes and Waffles, Posydoodles Circle dies and pattern paper from Winnie Daisy Fairy and Work & Play 10.

So let's see what the Design Team have been making this week...we hope you're inspired by all these great ideas 'Thank You' ideas!...

Leah - Good day friends! It's time for Digichoosday on the Polkadoodles blog today, and I am here to share this fun and very Spring-themed (yes, it's wishful thinking for sure!) Thank You card featuring the Spring Flowers Gnome, a digital sentiment and some digital paper. I've paired the free digital Thank You sentiment with the Bella Bear Morning Coffee digital paper, as well as some digital paper from the Paper Heaven 2: Horace and Boo Collection.

Wendy - Hello everyone wishing you all a happy and healthy New Year.
The team is back today after a Christmas break with our January Birthday projects using a fab colour palette of pinks and teals....what a yummy combination! I chose to make a birthday card using my favourite sassy Rebel girl character.I used the pre-coloured Rebel Cool girl image as she fits our theme perfectly along with papers and a sentiment from the collection for a Z-fold book binding card made from hot pink pink card. I printed the image out 4 times and decoupaged her for loads of lovely dimension using 3D glue gel adding teal confetti for extra shine.

Christin - For my new card I combined the Earmuff Theo Penguin and Waiting for Christmas Theo Penguin. I colored them with my alcohol markers. You don't just have to use them for Christmas, they also look great on birthday cards as you can see. I love penguins and I love this color combination. I put them in this polaroid for sending a picture and birthday greetings from then north pole:)

Kerri - Hi everyone, Happy New Year! I'm Sharing a card I made using Ruby Dog Days. I printed the image onto card stock and proceeded to color with Prisma Pencils. I added a few embellishments with various pattern paper.
