Our New challenge this week is everyone's favourite

Anything Goes!!

You can make anything you like maybe a card, a scrapbook layout of even home décor.  You can use any products to enter and you can make anything you like so long as it fits the challenge theme!
We don’t have many rules but check them out in the side bar if you need to.
We give you two weeks to enter so that means you have until 10th March 2015 to enter and the winners will be announced on 17th March 2015. The winner will receive a £5 voucher to the Polkadoodles Digistore so check out what you COULD win!

So let’s see what the design team have made for us.

Scatty Jan For my anything Goes I have made a Letter box for my Granddaughters bedroom to go on one of her shelves- The box was cut on my portrait and once made are so much fun to decorate. I have used the Octavia Moonfly Collection - The image Octavia Dragonfly is also available as a digi download that you can find here. And also the Paper from the collection that I have used is available as a download bundle here. I have coloured her with Graph'It Markers and added some glamour dust to her wings for a little sparkle. Finished off with a little bling and some dewdrops.

Lynda:  For our 'Anything Goes' challenge this week I used the background paper, digi stamp and embellishments from the Work and Play 3 collection which is gorgeous. (except the yellow polka-dot paper which is from Work and Play 5)  Work and Play 3 is available on a cd or as a digital download. I hope you have fun with this weeks challenge Lynda xx

Anjie - My make started out life as a plain MDF pen holder that I got at a craft show last year.

I started with priming the bare would with white gesso putting two coats around the edges so I wouldn't have to cover them with paper. I then printed 2 sheets of paper out from the fabulous Dollie Goes Daydream East download. This is also available as a CD should you wish to get it that way.
I then covered the pen holder inside and out with the paper and added some faux stitching around the edge with a fine black pen. I then painted over the whole thing with Glassy Gel to make it more robust and to stop the paper peeling off. I then chose all my embellishments and printed them out, cut them out and then painted over them with Iridescent Paste to give them some shimmer. I then put them on 3D foam and glued them in place. Finally I made some rolled roses from the left over paper. This now has pride of place on my desk for pens that I use regularly.
Caz For my Anything Goes project i decided to make a hanging canvas..I have used the gorgeous Octavia Moonfly Unicorn Digi..Coloured with Graph its.  Papers and flowers as well as the digi can all be found on the fabby Octavia Moonfly collection available as a CD or as a Download.

Jane – Hi everyone!  So for the Anything Goes challenge I decided to recycle a little wooden box that I received at Christmas that used to contain chocolate gingers (all gone now of course)! All the papers, elements and also the image are from Winston Full Collection which is one of my faves. The cute Winston Bear Get in Touch can also be purchased separately!
The box contains small 4" x 4" cards all of the same design! Ideal for keeping in touch!  Enjoy your day! xxx

Wendy - I've tried something this week I haven't done in a long time, I've done paper piecing. The image I've used is Maddie Twirling Curls. I've coloured her face with Graph'its and all the papers used in the image are taken from the Tail Feather bundle.

Monica.-Gardening is not my thing. I kill allmost every plant I touch. Eventhough I love gardens full of flowers. This week my project is a 3d garden, made with the lovely elements of  Picknix 1.-In the Garden, the gardener from Work and Play 2 and the new cutting files.

Nikki - For my "Anything Goes" inspiration card, I chose the gorgeous Opera Singer Girl.... She is AMAZING.... I inked her up with my Copic markers... she was so much fun to ink up. You can find her as a single download OR why not buy the whole Work and Play 8 collection? The sentiment I used was also from the collection CD. The paper is from the newly released Octavia Moonfly collection. You can also buy the digital paper pack here!

Tanya - I was spoiled for choice this week with what to create with the open theme of ‘Anything Goes’, but thought I would stick with card making this week and use the fab Work & Play 3 collection  which you can find HERE.  I used the cloud paper, coloured digi images and a sentiment from one of the sheets and got busy with my sharp scissors to do a little bit of decoupage which I love love love.  You can buy the single black and white digis of the GIRL and BOY too.  How cute is the caravan???  Can’t wait to see what you all create for this week’s challenge.

KateI decided to go Clean & Simple and coloured the fab Dollie Daydream Birthday image and coloured her with Pro Markers, adding glossy accents to the candle on the cupcake. The sentiment is from my stash and I mounted the image onto red card, then onto a plain white 6x6" card blank

Yvonne - Hi everyone, well after a few weeks of being on a break from my markers, I have eventually coloured again and what better character to get your markers out for than Octavia?! Yes, like so many of my teamies, I cannot resist the lushness of the Octavia Moonfly collection. You can get it as a complete digi download, or in smaller digi bundles, or as a CD-Rom. I opted for Octavia Wistful. I coloured her with my Graph'It Markers, a range of which you can find here. The papers are from the collection too. I coloured the blue paper flower with my markers to get the look I wanted and I also coloured the ribbon too to the colour I wanted. I embossed the backing paper to give it some texture and I edged around it with the same distress ink I used on the image. I had so much fun making this card!

The winner and top 3 for week four can be found at the bottom of this post.

So let’s see what the design team have made for us.

Nikki - Springtime has been here in my hometown for awhile, in fact, we never saw winter at all. I don't remember that ever happening in the 30+ years I have lived here..... I loved this challenge because of the soft colours we could use. I chose Bella on The Swing. I also used papers from the Work and Play Collection 1 and Baby Boom. The sentiment is from the Work and Play Collection 8. I added some pearls as well. Visit my blog for all the details...

Scatty Jan I have used the lovely collection Pretty Sweet - It contains lots of lushness including some lovely digi girls , the sentiment is also from there. I have used Amelia with Basket and she is available as a digi on her own you can find her here. I coloured her up using Graph'It Markers, and added some dots using the Graph'It shaker marker The Lovely hearts paper and bow are both found on the Love and kisses CD - Finished of with some bling and some petal pink liquid pearls.

Caz  For my card i have used the lovely digi image Octavia Friendly Hugs..Papers are from the Baby Boom collection...Flowers from the Winston collection available as a CD or as a Download...I don't really do much in pastels, but enjoyed making this..

Anjie - I have used the beautiful Octavia Dragonfly image. The papers, flowers, buttons, ribbon, pendant and sentiment are all from the Octavia Moonfly download collection. You can also buy this as a CD. You can buy all the elements in smaller collections as well here.

Crafting Vicky I seem to be stuck in pink mode :)  What can I say, when I think pastels that's the 1st color that pops into my mind.   I just had to use the same cuddly set as last week but this time around I chose Etty Shy.  My precolored image and the great paper comes from Winston Deluxe collection but if you want the black and white version of this image you can find it here.

Monica.-Pastels are perfect for creating a calming ambience, as well as music. For my project I mix both. For my papers choice I chose the lovely pastel papers from Baby Boom collection and to fill my card with music, I chose the opera singer girl, the piano girl and the violin girl, all form Work and Play 8 collection. The music notes are from cutting files included in the same collection.

Kate - I chose the oh so sophisticated Dollie Daydream Glitz and decided to have my first attempt at a no-lines image (I did this by taking the image into Word & lightening the image before printing)
I coloured with my Pro Markers, as usual, and added Wink of Stella Clear Glitter pen to her eye shadow, lips, shoes and gorgeous feather

Wendy - For this weeks card, I've used items from Work & Play 9 'Love & Kisses'. The backing paper, flowers and letter tiles are also from this collection, as is the pre-coloured image, which is also available on her own as a digi stamp, Love and Kisses, for you to colour.

Jane – Hi everyone!  So spring is in the air, well not quite, but it won’t be long so my make this week hopefully reflects the coming season! I decided to decorate a gift bag as I haven’t done one of these for a while! The stunning image is Libby Carefree which you can get separately but she is also available on the Fredericka CD Collection.  I used one of the papers from the uber gorgeous Winston Full Collection (such scrummy colours), cutting out some of the butterflies to 3D.  Enjoy your day! xxx

Tanya...It’ll soon be spring and I’m so looking forward to lighter days and fresher air and maybe a little warmth.  I absolutely adore butterflies and had these five MDF butterfly shapes in my stash ready to make a home décor project.  I've used papers and sentiments from the Octavia Moonfly collection which you can get HERE and have punched teeny tiny flower shapes from papers on the collection to adorn the butterflies.  More pictures and details can be found on my blog.

Lynda: I used the gorgeous Rose Bud Collection for this weeks challenge, I used a pre-coloured digi called Miss Rose Budd and layered her up with elements from the same collection to make a little scene, I added a sentiment, flowers and bows from the same collection (more details on my blog) This collection is available as a digital download here or on a cd here.  Have Fun Lynda xx

Yvonne - Hi there! Well this week I opted for an Octavia image from the new collection 'Octavia Moonfly', which you can get in a range of digi download bundles, see your options here, or as a CD-Rom. I used the precoloured image 'Rose Garden' with papers from the 'Rose Budd Collection'.  The flowers and embellies are from the Octavia Moonfly collection also. All I added of my own is the ribbon and the gems.

Great makes from everyone I’m sure you will agree.

Using a heart embossing folder for the background and a legnth of lush white ribbon. Also used a heart border and a legnth of flower trim to finish

Nikki - Love is in the air everyone, can you feel it? The image I chose for this card is so cute..... it is called The Proposal. It is available as a single download or in the newly released Work and Play Collection 9. The designer paper with little x's and o's is also from the same CD. I am telling you, this CD is so awesome..... especially for weddings, anniversaries, and save the dates! I coloured this image with my Copic markers.... for more information, please visit my blog....

Tanya  Love is in the Air this week and what a great time to use one of the fab new digi images from the Work & Play 9 Love collection.  This collection is full of oh so lovely digi images coloured and black and white and the digi I've used is called ‘Cupid’ and is available on the collection HERE as a CD  and a single download HERE ....I've coloured the image with Graph It's and fussy cut the image and used the papers from the same collection and the hearts too and the word ‘Love’ is from the very very new Octavia Moonfly collection available HERE as the full collection and as words only HERE.

Jane – Hi everyone! So it’s the season of luuurve and I have chosen to make an anniversary card! The image, papers and sentiment are from the gorgeous Work and Play 9 Love and Kisses collection but you can buy the image, True Love/Best Friends, separately if you wish.
The beauty of stamps is that you can colour them to match the recipients and I have coloured this cute couple to represent my brother and his wife! Hope they recognise themselves!  So pop into the shop  where you can find tons of other gorgeous goodies to swoon over!  Enjoy your day! xxx

Crafting Vicky This challenge just had me want to cuddle.  And what better way to cuddle than with a gorgeous furry friend!  So I just had to use the fabulous Winston Deluxe full edition.  The papers and the colored version of mailbox bear can be found there.  You can also purchase the black and white version here if you prefer.

KateI decided I didn't want to do a traditional Valentines love card so made a card for a good friend of mine, who I know will love the sentiment I used. Everything on here, except the pearls,is available from Polka Doodles on the Work & Play 9 Collection

Monica-In Costa Rica, February is the wedding month. Couples can´t resist the lovely warm weather and the romantic starry nights. That was my inspiration for this week project. I used Work and Play 9.-Love & Kisses Collection: the adorable "Bride & Groom" -you can find just the digi here-, the delicate papers and even the cutting files for all the flourishes and the wedding sentiment are from that collection.

Wendy - For this weeks project, I've used the bird cage template and birds from the Love Birds Bundle. It was so easy to make, with all the measurements already done. I've decorated the cage with flowers from the Pretty Little Things bundle as are the hearts.
